Always wondered if spring really starts later. I’ve read that the Earth’s rotation or something changes every year, which slightly alters our calendar. Not enough for us to change it every year, but I assume it adds up eventually.

It might be futile, but I’m willing to give that joint protest a try. I’m ready for sunshine and 80-degree temperatures, too (it’s 48 and pouring as I type this).
And that colorful ball made me think of a planet, especially with “where no dog has gone before!”

I can’t complain about the weather, I don’t mind the cold. I do prefer not to wear a coat, so being warmer is preferred. Those two do discuss some interesting topics.

The ball must have a bad agent. I thought it was going to be a bigger part of the storyline here. That being said, if it had no character it wasn’t likely to be a main character was it? Here’s hoping the girls get their warmer Spring soon!

Lucy is such a GOOD big sister! She’s wise about things and patient with a little one who’s got about as much patience as most little ones. Did you have to go outside and toss that ball back over the fence?

“…Besides, we don’t know where it’s been.” I laughed at that, John. Mainly because I’ve never had a dog that seemed to care. They would turn their nose up at their water bowl after slobbering into it, but drink out of a puddle.
Good lesson for Twiggy, though. No sense complaining about the temperature. 80 degrees will get here soon enough.
