It is Veterans Day – Time to Remember Those Who Gave Us the Gift of Freedom

Today, we should pause to remember and thank those who served in the armed forces. Because of their service, we live and enjoy our freedoms.

If you know a vet, thank them for us. If you know a vet who is no longer with us, remember them and what they did for you. If you are a vet, thank you so much for your service and dedication to this great country.

A serious day of remembrance for us with a son who is a vet, and thankfully lived through his 20 year enlistment without being injured. Thanks!

Will do. Of course he’s already had back surgery, his knees are trashed and he’s partially deaf. From being Airborne. But we are grateful he’s alive and living a pretty normal life. And a proud Dad.

A lovely post, John. Even though I don’t always approve of our government’s military decisions, I’m immensely grateful to our veterans for their service and the risks they and their families are willing to take on our/my behalf.
