Friday is here. Happy days are here again, the sky above is clear again. Happy days are here again. Looks like we may all make the week. At least we have a good shot from this point. Eight hours and a margarita is mine. I have noticed a number of posts this week talking about the fall colors. Sitting here on the Gulf I really don’t get much change except for the lawn starts to turn pale with the shortening days. I do notice our Boxer Lucy is sleeping a little later since the sunrise is getting later each day. I think if we lived further North (like Scandinavia) she would never go to sleep in the summer. Today’s JohnKu (a term coined by Words4jp) is about season change. The title is Stay. I hope you like it

Yay, Friday is here and not a moment too soon 🙂 Love the johnku but I have to say that I look forward to cooler temps here in Florida. Also, a little more uninterrupted sleep since one of our cats tends to wake us up at daybreak. Enjoy that margarita!

Yes, I love Jackson Browne. I love David Lindley’s falsetto in this. Also, you are right. Friday is here. In Atlanta, we don’t have many signs of fall. Yet, the slightly maroon change in the leaves in our woods. So pretty. but still hot and scalding. And steamy weather.

I used to go to Atlanta a lot. I always remember how beautiful the Dogwoods were in the spring and the fall leaves. Have a great weekend.

Happy late Friday – early Monday:) I do love Jackson Browne – It is hard to believe fall is here. It seems just yesterday we were thawing out, and now we are about to freeze again. Geez, I woke up Sunday morning and the temp was 42 degrees! That is criminal! Oh well, there is nothing we can do to stop it, so we might as well hitch a ride on a leaf and fly around in the wind!
