Friday JohnKu (redux) – AKA TGIF

As some of you know my scheduler went on the fritz and the post that was to run today ran last Tuesday. To let you know, I usually do the Friday post on the Monday before. The advance writing of the post means I have to use my crystal ball to predict the future (and it can be tough when the weather is concerned). As a result of my error, there are two TGIF posts this week. I think the funniest comment around the Friday post on Tuesday was from Charles Yallowitz, who wondered how long he had slept. The weather turned out the way I outlined in the post. The good weekend weather arrived on Thursday. We are expecting some cold on Monday. Enough said about the weather. Today’s JohnKu (A term coined by Words4jp) is about mistakes. I hope you like it.

Mistakes come easy,

Often fed by quick actions. . .

Hard to correct though.

One time I accidentally published a blog tour post for Charles that was supposed to be scheduled for a later time. Although it might have only taken me a minute or two to “unpublish” the post, Charles still saw it come up in his reader. That man has eagle eyes 😉
Happy Friday, John. It’s freezing here but it’s Friday. That’s always a plus regardless of the weather.

Actually it came to my email. So not really eagle-eyed. My habit of walking into walls disproves it too. 😉

Also, if it’s tied into Twitter, Google +, Tumbler and Facebook the world sees it as well

I try to edit my posts before I hit publish, but inevitably there is at least one mistake that has to be corrected after the fact.

Crystal balls often need an upgrade like the rest of the smart devices.
or at least a dust off. As for your Johnku, so true, so painfully true. My index finger quickly clicking send is responsible for a lot of shall we say human error.

Mine are usually due to fat digits and poor eyesight.

Nothing bad happened after WP Scheduler failed. In fact you have another JohnKu and wonderful conversation. My silly digits have a mind of their own as well. Sigh.

A scheduler on the fritz can turn our lives upside down. Fortunately no damage was done. Have a good weekend John.

I mess up regularly, John. Take yesterday. I scheduled my post title well in advance and ended up writing a different post. Never changed the title, which didn’t make sense with the post.
