We want to wish all of you Happy Holidays. It is Christmas eve at our house and the tree is all ready for Santa to finish the decorations with colorful packages. The packages will be there tomorrow providing we have all been good. I think it is a safe bet.

All the best from our house to yours.

  1. Hi, one of my favorite two Johns! I read/look at your blog post each time a fresh one pops up because it’s always the first one on my feed…most often, I only have time to enjoy the beautiful waterside view that you’re giving us. This post was so beautiful (the view…the tree, the ladder, etc.) that I just had to stop by and wish you and yours a very personal, a very warm Merry Christmas. And, if those that reside in your home are at all like you (I would assume that they are because birds of a feather…) well, I am here to confirm that Santa will be dropping by later this eve with loads of goodies for you all.

Have a great one, my dear!

  3. What a gorgeous tree, John. The photo really is a lovely composition. I like the lights reflecting in the window, and the palm tree in the distance. (And I’m green with envy over those built-in bookshelves.) Merry Christmas to you and yours, my friend — humans and four-footed family.
