Another week has flown by. Well, to those of us who are not involved in high-pressure jobs it has flown by. I can imagine if you were trying to save the world or work as a bomb defuser the week goes by at a snail pace. To this writer, it seemed to pass pretty quickly.
We are looking forward to our new neighborhood social event. We are calling it Full Moon Fire. With our new walkway in place, we have decided to celebrate the full moon with a fire on the beach and a gathering of neighbors. The idea is to take your golf cart loaded with food and drink over the walkway (now called a cartway) and watch the moon rise over the Gulf while enjoying the company of the neighbors. Since this will be the first and it will be tonight I’m not sure what to expect. I think it could be a beautiful evening. We will see. Today’s John Ku talks about the moon.

Moon under water,
Slowly rising in the night. . .
A welcome beacon.

Happy full moon fire party on the beach!
And a Happy Easter to you all! ๐

I hope it’s a good evening. I hope you don’t collect 10 things not to do at a bonfire (actually, I hope it’s a good evening and you do, but…)

I think I will keep my ears and eyes open. Of course, these people are my neighbors and too much reporting will get me in trouble.

I noticed that. Peaches are best after the kids are gone.

John, first off the Johnku is absolutely beautiful! It sounds like a great party. I really hope you and the Mrs. enjoy it. Love the term “cartway” LOL.
Meanwhile, I’m still wondering what will become of “Ben.”
Have a lovely night. Hugs.

Thank you, Teagan. Yes, poor Ben. He does have a problem right now. Thanks for the wish for a good time. It will be interesting to say the least.

What a picture you’ve painted, John. I love the idea of the moon beneath the water as its reflection spreads across the surface.
Sounds tonight will be a g.o.o.d. time. Nothing like camaraderie with friends and neighbors–in short a beach party. ๐ ๐ ๐

Cold beach party. Thanks Tess.

Cold? Didn’t everyone bring enough wood for a giant fire? What about alcohol? Didn’t that help? Even a little?
Maybe next time. ๐
