I was going to post about the fact that I’m putting together a bundle for Kindle that is all three books of the John Cannon Trilogy. I decided that I should wait until it is actually for sale before I start making noise. In about a month I think the box set will be ready. I do have a cover though. Here it is.

John Cannon Boxset
In the meantime, there are a few photos that have been on my camera and the thought was to write a post around them by getting more. Unfortunately, they are pretty much stand alone pictures, so I hope you like them.
The first is a shrimp boat that is very close to shore. They don’t normally operate this close

The next is Lucy watching the waves for any signs of wildlife or a taco.

This one is a shot of a neighboring subdivision. I don’t think they want you to go in there.

A picture of Peggy enjoying some time in the surf. She has her caddie with her.

Here is a flight of pelicans in the V formation

The next is a shot of the town alligator. He had just missed capturing a Coot. (no not me)

Well, I’ve cleaned out the file of anything worth keeping. Thanks for viewing.

That beach looks awesome and relaxing. Boy do I need a beach in my life right now. Good stuff! You’ve got my follow. Check out my comedy blog and give it a follow if you like it!

Great cover. Where did you get it? Also:
What’s a coot?
Are ocean tacos common and tasty?

My cover artist made the set. A Coot is a bird. It is all black with a white beak and it makes a sound like a burp. Ocean Tacos are the best.(At least Lucy things so) BTW an Ocean Taco to her is anything that floats.

Dang. I was thinking a coot was some kind of rodent. Very far off. Hope she doesn’t eat too many Ocean Tacos. Some of them can sting.

The boxed set looks great, John. I enjoyed looking at these photos. Good to see it’s not all work with you. How far up on the beach does that alligator get? I’d hate to see Lucy and him in a battle over a stray taco.

Ha hah. The alligator is over in a santuary on the bay side of the island

Loved the photo journey…and was stunned to see an alligator near the beach. UGH! The book bundle is terrific (though I’d like a bundle in paper). 🙂

Yes. Paper would be fun. Thanks, Gwen

The alligator looks familiar. I don’t think we got along… too much attitude on his part – unless it was a her, in which case I can understand how she felt about my mistaking her for a him.

I didn’t know Peggy had a caddie. The V formation is fab. Beautiful photos today, Butch.

Thanks Audrey. I don’t think the caddie knows it either,

That’s exciting news about your boxed set! What a great idea 🙂 I love your photos … although the one with the no trespassing signs on the subdivision is annoying. The kind of signs that make me want to take long walk on their boardwalk 😉 And you have gators where you live? I hope you were using a telephoto lens for that shot 😉

The gater lives in a sanctuary on the bay side of the island. He is the only one around here. Many more East of us. Thanks, Marie.
