Friday John Ku – AKA – TGIF

Glad to see Friday roll around. It has been a busy week filled with some activities. Circumstances of Childhood (My next) has been fully edited and proofed. It now needs formatting and then will be ready to go.  I wrote to my cover artist about the cover but did not get a response. This is very unusual, so I’ll have to follow through and make certain she got the e-mail. When launch time comes, I will be asking for help. I will publish a separate, and if you would like to be part of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up. It looks like a mid-September launch if I can get a cover.

It is always amazing to me how many things can go south in the preparation process for publishing a book. It might be better not to have a target date and just do it when it is ready. Ah, what fun would that be? Today’s JohnKu talks about publishing. I hope you have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you, Pamela. I love your stuff and just saw that for some reason my follow of you dropped away. I’ve erupted. Thanks for the Boom Shakalaka. 🙂

  1. Brilliant synonym, John! My feelings exactly. Good luck with the rest of the book process. You can sign me up to host you when the time comes 🙂 Right now, it’s so dark and the weather horrid that I just want to have a PJ day, lols. Feels more like mid-winter … ah well, the weekend awaits 🙂

  3. Congrats on this milestone, John. I’ve had that “back cover” moment myself… LOL.
Yehaw! My power just came back on (3rd recent outage). Double yehaw since I had 2 weeks of groceries on the way. Wheew! TGIF indeed! Boom Shakalaka! Boom Shakalaka!

  4. That one made me laugh.
I’m sure the bulk of readers have no idea all of the work that goes into a book–in addition to the actual writing!

Looking forward to the release, John. I’ll be happy to help with the tour when the time comes.
