“Hey, Twiggy. Have you thought about what you would like to do today?”
“Well, Dad. I have a couple of things on my agenda.”
“I’m here to may every one of your requests come true today.”
“Hmm. Maybe I should do some further thinking. The first thing is breakfast.”
“Coming right up. The usual?”
“Yum. For those of you who wonder. My dad’s a real jokester. The usual indeed.”
“Who are you talking to Twiggy?”
“You must know we are never alone. The fourth wall is out there.”
“Goodness. You are certainly perceptive. So what’s next?”
“How about a little playtime with Lucy and Bailey.”
“Good deal. Let’s go.”
“Morning. Lucy.”
“Hi, Boss. I see you have the little one in your arms.”
“Yup and she would like to play. I’ll set her down.”
“Hey, Lucy. Look at this toy. It is part plastic and pom-pom.”
“Hold on little one. I need to wake Bailey. She needs to get involved too.”
“Okay then. I’ll just stay here and have fun with this super toy all by myself.”
“It won’t be long. Be right back.”
“Okay, Lucy. I’m here to back you up.”
“Hey, Mom. Is it okay if we run with Twiggy?”
“You have to be careful. She is so small, and you are so big.”
“Hello, Bailey. Have you seen my toy?”
“Yes, It is right over there. I think right where you left it.”
“See the black end. That is where you grab it and run like crazy.”
“Yeah, that does look like fun. Let me go and have a conversation with Lucy.”
“Lucy. Have you played with that toy yet?
“No, not yet. What’s the problem?”
“I would have thought she would like a bone or a ball. Not some pom-pom.”
“You know Bailey. It takes all kinds. These youngsters have their own kind of fun. I know one thing though.”
“What is that?”
“You won’t catch me with that in my mouth running like an idiot across the room.”
“Gotta admit she’s cute though.”
She’s so tiny! Looks like she’s settling in, though. Put a huge smile on my face; great way to start the morning. Thanks, John.

Youngster indeed. And a tiny one at that. Looks like the girls are going out of their way to be careful with her. I’m sure there is an adjustment period. I do have to say Twiggy’s face is every bit as expressive as her older siblings.

Twiggy is like a cat with her pom-pom toy. You take such great photos, John. I love the one with her toys on the bed. A few them look bigger than she does. What a cutie! And Lucy and Bailey are always lovely ladies. I’m grinning ear to ear!

Thank you, Mae. The original toy was for Stella who hated it. Twiggy already burned through that one and this is the second. 😀

Dallas has an octopus similar to the one on Twiggy’s bed; he said he’d like to have a pizza slice, too, but make it the real thing, thank you very much! Twiggy is so precious … and I’m glad to see her settling in. Isn’t it great when they start showing some personality?!

Your pictures fit the dialog perfectly. The boxers really look like they’re having a meeting on the mound to discuss their plans.

My cat has a toy like that, but he’s chewed off off the black plastic stick. Maybe Twiggy was a cat in a previous life?

As man…I was so stressed out at work that I missed my Twiggy fix at lunch time. But it’s a great way to finish off the day too!
Is she going to have markings that show up more as she matures? It seems like her nose/ muzzle is darker…
Loved visiting with you and the girls, John. Hugs

She is getting a dark strip down her back and ears. Yes the muzzle is changing. Thanks, Teagan. We will watch her grow and see. 😀

Twiggy looks very sad that Lucy and Bailey don’t share her delight in the new toy. Could they be a little jealous of her, do you think?
LikeLiked by 1 person
The nice thing about youth is they don’t take the time to be sad. Lucy and Bailey are a little snobbish about the toys they choose. A cat toy is not something they would even consider. 😀 Thanks, Kim. Jealous? Oh Yeah.

I knew Twiggy was small, but these photos really show the difference in size between her and the other girls. I laughed at all the toys. Try as I might, I never could get Dixie Rose interested. Her favorite was tissue paper. I’d provide a few sheets, she’d tear it to shreds. Repeat, on a weekly basis.
Willl Twiggy get big enough to be able to really romp with the other two?
LikeLiked by 1 person
She will not be that big but given the personality of the Boxers and Twiggy I think they will have a good time. Our beloved Silky Terrier was only eight pounds and bossed these two around right up to her last day. Thanks for your interest, Linda.
