Another Friday is upon us. Here’s wishing you all a lovely weekend. I was supposed to be in McKinney Texas at a book festival. Unfortunately, there is a lot of rain expected in the area (near Dallas). Rain tends to cut down on attendance, so the event was postponed until next June. I was looking forward to this event but can fully understand the organizer’s need to put it off. It would not be a good thing to have a bunch of authors travel to the location and have no readers show up. Today’s JohnKu talks about change.

Sorry about the book festival, John. Twiggy looks just as disappointed. Well, now you can enjoy your weekend with the “Producer” and the fur babies. 🙂

I’m right with you on that one, John. I too am disappointed, but I do think it was a wise decision. It rained last year for the first McKinney book festival and we had no foot traffic. I was mostly looking forward to meeting you in person and having a glass of wine.

I can see this would be a disappointment, but better this way than a bigger disappointment of not having people show up. Now you can enjoy your weekend without the necessity of travel!
