Thursday – A Little Personal – Fries before Guys

“What do you have there, Little One?”

“Mom bought us a new toy. Look it says Fries Before Guys. What does that mean?”

“I think it means that French Fries have a higher rank on the food chain than boys.”

“Sounds strange. Excuse me, I need to find Mom.”

Twiggy and Lucy

“What did Mom say?”

“Exactly what you said. Also to enjoy the toy.”

“So what do you take from the saying?”

“That Fries are more delicious than boys.”

“I think that’s a pretty good take away Little One.”

“I can’t imagine what fries or boys taste like.”

“Let’s hope you don’t have to find out. In the meantime, enjoy the toy.”

“I think the container is more fun actually.”

Mom keeps putting the fries back in the container.”

“Yeah, Little Potato. Mom’s are like that.”

Twiggy has her hands full with those big fries. I was wondering what it meant, too! Happy Thursday, John. 🙂

Yes, it does! (Although my head is too big to fit in the container. Perhaps I could wear it as a hat,)

I’m guess Dad (not Mom) bought the fries.

A cute toy. I´m not showing it to Dot or she´ll want one. Hugs to both pups.

All I can hear is my own Mom saying, “Don’t play with your food!” In this case, Mom’s clearly advising just the opposite, despite these fries not being real food. Can you imagine what fun it would be to find a real pile of fries that size?

Hahaha. It would be fun. Gives new meaning to the “I bet you can’t eat just one.” phrase. Thanks, Linda.

I haven’t either, John. Since my husband’s heart surgery nine months ago, we’ve virtually stopped eating fried foods.

That looks like a great toy. Sad that she doesn’t know what real fries taste like. Take that girl to McDonalds, stat.

That is such an adorable toy with a LOT of fries. I just love seeing the girls with their toys all around. And there’s nothing better than a new toy to add to the collection. Thanks for the smiles, John.

Dog toys are definitely cooler than cat toys. Just sayin’.

Ha haha. I have to agree. The one toy our cats loved was a little feather thingy on a string attached to stick.

Bond is apparently offended by feathers. They don’t last long at our house.

That’s a wild toy! It must be fun for the pups to pull the fries out and then watch mom put them back. I wonder when the novelty will wear off. 😀

What a great toy! Dallas, of course, would prefer real fries, but Twiggy seems to be happily entertained. And how cool that the fries come out of the box so she can string them all over the floor!! 😉

I’m glad they’re just as puzzled as I am about the saying. Fries perhaps take precedence before ANYTHING…?? Looks like a fun toy for all.

Amazing idea, dear John! Safe, organic French fries for dogs! Brilliant! I suppose that Twiggy is attracted with the scarlet colour of the container….though I’m not aware if dogs have the vision similar to us.

Half the fun of those toys is taking them apart. Putting them back together gives them another shot. It looks like it works with Twiggy, but Lucy may be onto you guys.

That’s a cute toy unless you have a dog or baby who chews things up. My parents had a dachshund who loved to chew, especially leather items, and my son was teething when he chewed up some foam rubber toys. I found pieces of them all over the floor. I can laugh about it now. 😀 — Suzanne

Twiggy tends to try to find a thread that will unravel the toy. We take it when she gets there.
