The rain stopped, and the temps went into the 60s. Time to get out and try to find fall color here in Lakeway. Come on along and let’s see if there is any.
You can tell the upper atmosphere is frigid. The jet contrails are very visible. This is about as colorful as the trees get here. This is a lake on the way to my exercise parlor.
Here’s a shot looking toward one of the greens on the golf course.
Here is a photo into the sun, but I thought the calm water was worth the shot.
Another lake in town.
I’ve shown you this waterfall before but wanted to see how the fall had changed it.
I like the cascading water effect here.
here are some Lilly pads looking a bit yellow.
A babbling brook. You can see the yellow trees in the background.
Just to show you that it is fall, I took a shot of the place where wildflowers grow in the spring. Since there are none, it must be Fall.
Thank you for taking this little walk
Beautiful shots.

Very nice to see a bit of your area in the fall. Love the waterfall, and that one with the sky contrails and reflections in the water is really wonderful. 🙂

I love Autumn. It’s my favorite time of year. I’ll bet it’s wonderful hanging out beside the waterfall in the morning. I also like the photo where the contrail reflects in the water.

I’m delighted to see you’re getting some Fall, too, John. No, it doesn’t look like a Midwest Fall, but I do love the water shots — especially the waterfall, the brook, and the shot toward the golf course. And I laughed out loud when I saw the sign pointing out the wildflower photo area!

It’s such a lovely, peaceful looking setting, John. Easy to see why you chose it for your new home. Great work with the photos. There’s just a little yellow around here. I’m beginning to think a lot of the trees will go straight from green to brown and skip the pretty phase. Happy new week hugs.

Thanks, John. I’m in the process of finding a doctor to do the knee replacement. My daughter-in-law said I’d better see about it in case I get weaker or the infection happens again. I’ll get advice from a doctor. 🙂 — Suzanne
