“Twiggy. What are you doing in the shower?”
“I heard we had to distance ourselves, and this is the furthest place I could find.”
“Okay, we need to talk. Let’s ht the livingroom.”
“The suggestion on social distance applies to humans.”
“Well, I still think Lucy looks, suspect.”
“Maybe you two should go outside.”
“I’m telling you, Boss. She has flipped.”
“She is just concerned like all of us, Lucy. Twiggy, come on over.”
“But you pups have nothing to worry about. Besides, isn’t it nice to have us here all the time?”
“Yeah, sure. What’s that Little One? A squirrel?”
“Nope, no squirrel.”
“How about a ruckus inside, Lucy?
“What about social distance?”
“Well, the way I see it, we are fine here. Look at my shark impersonation.”
“Your dorsal fin looks a little skinny but otherwise a good one.”
I love watching these two, and those little steps for Twiggy are the best!

What a great job lifting our spirits, John. That first photo of Twiggy is priceless! I don’t think I could ever distance myself from those two.

In fact, they won’t let us distance ourselves. Thank you, Jill. I had hoped to lift spirits today. Thanks for letting me know I succeeded. ❤️

They did have a ruckus but moved so fast all I got was a bunch of blurry photos. Thaks, Lori.

What an amazing dialogue! You are masterful in projecting human emotions into these little angels. The shower photo is priceless (and I’m envious of your shower!). 🙂

Thank you, Gwen. These pups are a delight and do provide many opportunities for me to interject human thoughts. Of course, sometimes I believe human and canine thoughts unite in certain situations. Thanks for the compliment. We do like our shower. 😁

What are folks without dogs doing to keep themselves entertained? At least we are allowed to walk Dot but only one of us and not too far from home. It is being policed.

Let’s just hope all the precautions are going to help stem the tide. If so it will be worth the effort to stay away from others. Thanks, Darlene. Give Dot a pat.

The pets fo seem to know that something is up with us humans, John. I hope they all can take it in stride and enjoy the extra company.
I hope all of you, humans and canines remain healthy during this crisis. Take care.

Thank you, Dan. We hope the same for your clan. The sad thing is daughter is being forced into work and now does not feel comfortable about coming over for Sunday dinner. She works for a large financial group who have not embraced the work at home idea. We hope they come to their senses.

I, too, hope they come to their senses. There are very few jobs that can’t be done remotely, at least for a relatively short amount of time.

That photo of Twiggy in the shower is hilarious. Does she do that often, or did she really hear one too many news stories about the need to isolate and decide to go ahead and get with the program?

This was a one time thing. Twiggy came up missing and we were looking for her all over. The Producer checked the bathroom. (Twiggy has been known to unroll the toilet paper for fun) There she was sitting in the corner. A quick shot withthe cellphone recorded the event. I, of course, made up the social distance cause. We have no idea what she was doing and figured she just needed a little alone time. Thanks, Linda.

I remember a time or two I couldn’t find Dixie Rose. I didn’t quite panic, but I was getting close. I was sure she’d made it out the door, since I’d been gone and she’d had a kitty-sitter. Nope: under the bed,but scrunched so far back against the wall she nearly was invisible.

Hahaha. We are always afraid that Twiggy would escape. There is no doubt she would follow her nose into all kinds of trouble. Thanks, Linda. Bless Dixie Rose.

Ha ha! Too funny. I know Zeke misses my ensuite bathroom as he used to sleep in my shower (nice and cool).
He doesn’t see any trouble with this social distancing either as it hasn’t stopped us from taking walks ’round the neighbourhood – priorities and all that.
Loves these exchanges with the girls.
