The sign in town announcing the art show and Studio tour.
Here we are. To give you an idea of the layout, here is a shot of one room.
Here is some Western art. All proceeds go to Meals on Wheels.
Travelog art. The artist traveled around the world and painted what he saw.
Various paintings of assorted subjects.
Still life and beach scenes.
Pet portraits. Found out she never painted a French Bulldog before.
A very popular pots and succulent offering.
Abstract and realistic paintings plus some ceramics and wooden items.
The table with information about the studio visits. (I know we have to get to brunch)
A talented artist who also created the “Slow Fawns at Play” yard signs seen all over town.
The three-piece entertainment group is on a break but pretending to play for the camera.
Well, that’s the tour today. So relax, have some food and listen to Miranda.
Very impressive!

Looks like a lot of talent people participated. The lady who never painted a Frenchie looks so over it! That photo made me laugh. Thanks for the tour, John. Wishing you and the family a peaceful Sunday.

I had to laugh too. She reminded me of some kind of dog so I kept it in. 🤣

Another excellent tour, John, thank you. I’d be very interested in the western art work and maybe I could successfully grow one of those cacti. lol
I am getting a bit hungry – steak & eggs with a side of grits, please.

Yes. I was a little disappointed in the number of people not wearing masks but all in all it was nice to get out.

Thanks for the nice tour. It’s a good collection on display. Is Twiggy ready to model?
I changed my mind three times on breakfast. Steak and eggs is hard to resist.
I hope you have a great day, John.

I enlarged the photos on my iPad to see the pictures better 😃

Good idea. Because of memory constraint issues with WP I resize the photos from 3GB to about 100kb so they aren’t as clear and sharp as the originals. But I guess you do okay anyway. 😁

I size my visuals to 300px high x whatever width they reduce to, John, but your photos were still good to make out many details 😃

Good then. Mine are sized to 460X600

We like it a lot, when “Die Kuenstler” – our local group of painters – have their exhibition, and we sometimes find a picture we like there. The proceeds, though, do no go to a charity, but to the artists themselves.

The western art both was the only one that had a charity connection as far as I could see. Thanks, Pit.

Indeed some cool art, and for such a worthy cause! I believe I’ll buy that tortuga painting in the second picture … how much? I’ll have to pass on brunch today … still not quite up to it, but it looks yummy! Happy Sunday, John!

I hope you commissioned that artist to paint Twiggy, John — of course, the little potato probably wouldn’t sit still for it, right?!! Interesting tour today. Looks like the show was well-attended.

I did not, Debbie. She works from photos so wiggle worm wouldn’t be a problem, but I just didn’t like her style. Thanks, Debbie.

I love, love going to art shows. One is coming up next week in Prescott, and I’m hoping to go. But with the Delta…. Anyway, I enjoy supporting local and upcoming artists and have found some of my most cherish pieces at art shows. Your area is certainly talented, John. Thank you for sharing it with us. 😊

I am surprised. They are providing a lot of activities in your city. Thats wonderful, and the art show looks fantastic. I think, Twiggy and Lucy will have some appointments, in future. Lol They are really in need of portraits, and it seems they are the only French Bulldogs, within several hundred miles. 😉 xx Michael

The classic breakfast and a mimosa sound good, John. 😉 And what a wonderful art show! It reminds me of our county fair which we haven’t had in 2 years because of covid. Hopefully, next year it’ll come back though. Anyway, thanks for sharing. It looks like there was a lot of beautiful art.
