Happy Easter, everyone. In celebration of the holiday, we are going on a brief hunt for Easter decorations in the neighborhood. We are catered today by Forthright in Austin, TX. Our entertainment is The Corrs.
Menu
Drinks – You name it, we’ve got it.
So, let’s get on the bus.
You may remember this from last year. However, this year has a surprise.
A bunny appears while you read the message.
Eggs in the ground cover.
A tiny library, a pickup, a gnome, and some eggs.
Bunny mailbox topper.
Another more philosophical bunny mailbox topper.
Running bunny.
Two bunnies. Can you find them?
An egg flag.
Happy Easter door decoration.
Well, that’s it for this year. Now is the time for food and entertainment. I hope you have a great week.
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter. Off for the Easter egg hunt in my garden with the neighbour’s nine-year-old daughter. Thanks for the Coors. We definitely have the same taste in music.

I enjoyed the chicken and waffles while I took the tour.

I hope you don’t mind, but my bunny and I are still under CDC guidelines….

Happy Easter, John! I particularly like the philosophical bunny. A bunny should have a degree of gravitas.

I’ll take the American breakfast. Over easy with the bacon. Never tried sourdough toast. Sounds great.
We will be l be at my sons house for brunch and dinner. 49 people. Ugg. Too many for me. I’ll find a quiet place I hope.
So, Happy Easter to you and family
PS. Nice photography

Great stuff again. I actually expected a lot from The Corrs, but they were kind of short lived.

They went on a long retirement and never really came back. They did an album in 2017 but haven’t heard much from them since.

I’m not going to be online much today, John, but I HAD to stop by Fiction Favorites to check out your Views of the Neighborhood post. I enjoy these SO much, and today was no exception. Loved all the decoration, but the first bunny mailbox topper made me SO envious. I can think of lots of places I’d love to put one just like it. Gorgeous. And yes, I found the two rabbits, and loved the pop-up sign. Your neighborhood continues to impress me every week! Thanks so much for sharing, John, and Happy Easter! 🐰🙏🐰

Happy Easter to you and yours, John! Took me a while to find that second bunny! It was well camouflaged. And the Corrs – how can we not love them?

I certainly loved them in the 90s. Happy Easter, Dale.

HI John, I could find the two bunnies. Gosh, American’s put up decorations for everything. It’s not like that here. We only have decorations at Christmas time.

I found the 2 bunnies!!!!
I’ll have waffles with avocado!
It’s Easter, so I’ll splurge with a Mimosa!
Are these actual menus, or do you make them up?
It really must be Easter, John!
I’m sure I laid a few eggs in my comments.

Ha ha ha. You never lay eggs in your comments. They are always delightful. Yes, these are real menus from real restaurants. Splurging is a good thing. Thanks, Resa. 🤗

Interesting about the menus being real.
Lots of heavy food out there. LOL!
Yeah… since the poundemic began, and now with the war, I’m splurging.
If I don’t lay eggs, why am I gathering twigs for a nest? 🤗🤗

Happy Easter, John. Typical Midwest Spring day — cold, windy, cloudy. Not conducive at all to Easter bonnets and frocks!!

The first display is amazing! I wonder if the homeowners created it themselves? And how do they get the bunny to pop up like that? So cool!
Happy Easter, John 🙂

Yes they did. That is a compound surrounded by a stone wall. Must be ten acres or so. The bunny is on some kind of mechanical arm.

I like that they decorated the little free library. These are great, John. I hope you had a wonderful day.
I’ll go with the Americana Breakfast – I start most days with sourdough toast with jam. Hash-browns are always good. It’s hard to choose between bacon and avocado, but I’ll go with bacon.
