Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Lucy Get Motivated

Looks like Lucy and Twiggy are taking a little time to themselves. You know what they say, “Let sleeping dogs lie.”

“Who was that talking?”

“Huh. I didn’t hear anyone.”

“Whoever it was certainly does not respect the sanctity of the nap.”

“Well, little one. We are up now.”

“Yeah, and I was going to do a power nap today.”

“What is a power nap?”

“It’s where you take no more than twenty minutes and fall out completely.”

“We do that all the time.”

“Yeah, but this is different. You wake up refreshed and ready to resume the day.”

“I always wake up refreshed and ready to resume the day as it is.”

“But the idea here is you are awake for longer periods of time.’

“What fool thought this up?”

“You have me there. I think it was a millennial motivation type.”

“Yeah, so I think I’ll try one right now. Hey. What’s that noise?”

“Look at that, Lucy. FedEx, UPS, USPS, and Prime all simultaneously.”

“Good thing we are well-rested. Give ’em the St Louis special.”

“This crowd deserves a bark to New jersey.”

“You go, girl.”

Nothing excites pups more than delivery trucks! I do remember those days. 😁 Give them some extra hugs — and a treat, and all will be right with the world.

I like how each dog has their own couch. If you think I’m making fun of you, I’m not. We do the same and cover ours in a similar fashion. We had to put one of our labs down (cancer) at the start of the pandemic, and now Lulu has her choice of couches.

    1. We definitely have to find a place where we can. Sorry to hear about your lab. We had the same with Bailey our daughter’s boxer.
