The Lakeway Parks and Recreation had initially planned an event for May 4th featuring a movie showing Star Wars; The Rise of Skywalker. Unfortunately, there was the threat of thunderstorms, so the event was moved to the 5th. We can still go back and participate through the magic of time travel. Here is the poster for the event.

The Craigo’s truck is here with free pizza.
The popcorn is ready to go.
A storm Trooper looks like he’s ready for all comers.
Here is a brave warrior taking him on with a laser sword.
The kids are ready for laser tag, as is Din Djarin.
Fun for everyone.

I knew Jumbotrons were a thing. Just never saw a mini jumbotron towed around by a pickup truck before. Different.

What a fun event – and the kids must have loved it. We are huge Star Wars fans – we just finished watching season three of The Mandalorian and understand there is a new Star Wars series coming out soon. Can’t wait.

We do. In fact The Producer made a comment as we were leaving the event to the effect that we are very fortunate to have found this city when we moved from the coast.
