Thursday – A Little Personal – The Puma and Panther Showdown Over A Bed.

“The panther sneaks up on the puma with the intent of taking the bed.”

“The puma is fully prepared to ward off the attack.”

“The panther makes the first move.”

“The puma is now fully alert.”

“With a giant roar, the panther attacks.”

“The puma prepares to deflect the move and returns a growl..”

“The panther outflanks the puma.”

“The puma parries the thrust.”

“Mmumm emmumm”

“The puma buries the panther.”

“The panther takes a deep breath and is ready to go again.”

“Excuse me, but did the panther say, ‘I give up?'”

“‘Never surrender,’ the panther shouts.”

“The puma laughs and gets ready to end it all.”

“Okay, okay I surrender.”

“A very smart panther you are.”

“The panther can’t stand the tummy tickle.”

“You will do my bidding.”

“Yes, I will if you stop.”

“Maybe just one more tickle.”

“Sure looks like affection to me.”

“Yeah. That was a fun game. Okay no more tickling.”

“How about one kiss.”

“How about another rukus?”

  1. Oh, my gosh. The smother. They are adorable. I’m sure they’re working out the kinks, but the bed battle is so cute. Sending them both belly rubs (on top of the tickles).

    Thanks for the smiles, John.

    1. Thank you, Auntie,Dale. We do have fun. That little bat goes have sharp teeth. I’ve learned to smother her when she gets bitey. That puts a stop to it. 😁 Dad thanks you for the dialog comment. After all he writes our discussions down.

      1. Oh yes. They are so sharp when they are babies. Good for you on smothering her to stop her! As long as you keep letting her up to breathe now and again! Dad does a fabulous job of writing them down!

  2. I laughed all the way through this one, John. Those two are going to have a lot of fun playing together. They just need a bigger bed. Tempeste is a typical puppy – let’s play Twiggy, you’re ignoring me.

  3. What a delightful series, John. I have a feeling Twiggy may be enjoying all this more than she lets on. She clearly has perfected the effective but not dangerous smother technique.

  4. It was only a matter of time, Boss. And yanno, I don’t remember ever seeing any tickling going on when I would watch Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. It’s pretty refreshing, not to mention totally cute.

  5. These two seem ideally suited for one another, John. Almost makes me wonder if getting Monk a sister or brother would make him a better dog. (On second thought, nah — probably, he’d just teach the new sibling all the ways to annoy Mama, ha!)

  6. I love….“The puma parries the thrust.”

It has a Three Musketeer feel to it…just with extra legs.

Nice they’re playing puma so well together. Twiggy now has a D’Artagnan all her own. :)

  8. Adorable pics.

Twiggy you are so cute and photogenic. Tempeste, the panther might be, but it’s hard to tell because she always has her head to you. She must just love you!

Ask dad if he has his hands full?
