Buttermilk pancakes, please. I vote for the ceramic pig. Great choice of music. KK is quite a talent. Did you ever see his movie, ‘The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With The Sea’? A strange story. 1973, I believe. He’s 87 now.

I have not seen the movie. He wrote Me and Bobby McGee and I love his version as well as Janis Joplin’s. 87? Goodness.

I’ll have an order of Pecan Praline French Toast, please. Love love Kris Kristofferson’s version of this song. The fairyland mail box topper is so sweet. Have a super Sunday.

That agave or whatever really caught my eye. I’ve never seen a bloom like that. It’s impressive. The Vitex here went overboard this year; their blooms were as impressive as the one you showed here.

This is the year for Vitex for sure. Thanks, Linda.

Great pictures, John. The fawns and mom are beautiful. That mailbox does look sad. I bet Bobby McGee like the pictures, too.

That is one said mailbox! And then you have the other end of the spectrum with the fairy mailbox, and of course, the very happy looking pig. Running the gamut Boss.

I never heard this version, I like it.

The photos today are really good – clear and bold somehow. Your photos are always good but some of these are a bit different. Must be the lighting. I like the pig topper better than the fairyland one. Producer’s hibiscus is quite showy. Thanks for Kris and the Two Eggs My Way!

The Producer did a fabulous job on that Hibiscus! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Vitex, but it’s lovely. So are the white crepe myrtle, though I’m more partial to the watermelon pink variety because of how showy they are. Enjoyable stroll through your neighborhood, John — thanks for letting me join you!

Lol.. that sad mailbox is hysterical. Shove a cigar in the side of it’s mouth!

Enough of dissing that poor mailbox!

I’ll jump to the beautiful hibiscus. Great shot, John. There should be flowers here any day.

Kinda crazy, but now that I think about it there weren’t many tulips and daffodils this year. I think the spring season has become too warm, and turns into summer the next day.

Always a pleasure to tour your hood, thank you!

Well now, let me tell ya ’bout the ol’ crape myrtle. That tree’s somethin’ special, partner. Folks say it stands for love, beauty, long life, and good luck. In many parts, it’s a mighty fine symbol for marriage. Them flowers it sprouts? They ain’t just any blooms—they’re said to be the very flowers of the gods, sacred to Aphrodite herself, the Greek goddess of love. Over the years, lots of folks have come to believe that plantin’ a crape myrtle ’round your place will bring love and peace to your kin.
