Views of the Neighborhood – Lakeway City Hall Art Exhibit – Artist Christy Stephens

Today we are going to Lakeway City Hall to view an exhibit by artist Christy Stephens. Here is some information about the exhibit and the artist.

Christy Stephens is a graphic designer, illustrator, and ceramic artist based in Austin, Texas.

Pottery Wall Art- “I like to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the intricate yet extraordinary moments that occur in nature. The interplay of color and texture inspires the magical process of transforming raw clay from nature into functional works of art. I love the contrast between something new and fresh next to something weathered and worn. I invite you to explore my creations, discover the stories behind each piece, and find something that speaks to your heart to treasure for your home.” Christy can be reached online at                   http://cstreetstudio.com

We are catered by Moonshine in Austin, and our entertainment is The Righteous Brothers, Patrick Swayze, and Demi Moore.

I didn’t dare touch any of the exhibit, as I snacked on the St. Louis ribs while I observed the pieces. Then I went to her site. Thank you, John.

Interesting exhibit, John. You always do an excellent job of showing us talented folks in your area … and lovely things to see while visiting. Hope you didn’t suffer much with Beryl and that the heat and humidity isn’t becoming unbearable.

Beryl went way East of us. We didn’t even get a drop of rain. The heat is in the 90s climbing to 100 plus next week. We are used to it though. We are going into the season we call Hells back porch.

Our TV station just had a fan drive here for folks that don’t have fans. They distributed over 1000 fans and also raised $250,000

Thank you for taking the overall shot, as well as individuals!
