“My, don’t you look nice in your new coats.”
“We are unsure of these, but thanks for the treats.”

“Tempeste, you will never get that off that way.”
“How do you get them off?”

You find a nice chair and rub it off.”
“On Mom’s new chairs. Are you nuts?”

They have covers, so no one will be the wiser.”
“I don’t know. Sounds very risky to me.”

“Give it a try. Works wonders.”
“Okay, one rub.”

“Hey. What’s the deal?”
“This coat didn’t even budge. You lied to me.”

“No, I didn’t. It worked in the past. These new ones seem pretty stubborn.”
“You can say that again.”

“That step-over roll hold was pretty impressive.”
“You want to see it again?”

“Ha ha ha. I have to say you are getting good.”
“Don’t forget I have a good teacher.”

“I guess we are not going out.”
“How about a game of tag, then. I’ll be it.”
“Give me a head start.”
“One…two….”

Wow! So called “fur babies”. Lol But the black backside parts look a little bit like cockroach shields. A dedication to the more and more militarized surrounding? 😉 Best wishes, Michael

That color coordination is perfect. Of course, you could have tipped a hat to Christmas and given them one red coat and one green, but this will work better for January and February.

Twiggy has a Christmas sweater. She seems embarrassed to wear it. She loves he cheetah sweater. Tempest has a glove grey sweater which she also tries to get off.

The girls sure look cute in their coats. I guess the reason they want to take them off is because they feel their movement is impaired as they play tag.

I’m not sure why they want them off. I guess it is not cold enough. Thanks, Tim.

Our Mom always seems happy to see rub off attempts thwarted which we think is just plain mean. The fur kids should be thrilled they don’t have to wear snow boots. Those buggers are a real challenge!

Our Mom is the same. She will have a smile on her face as we roll around and rub every piece of furniture. She did try boots and the high stepping avoidance system worked. No more boots. We are glad you don’t have them either. .

Their new coats look really nice. Is it that chilly in TX? LOL! Twiggy isn’t happy with the stubborn new coats being harder to get off is she? Stay warm over there! I’m wearing a down vest over my jammies top now as it’s really chilly at only 24 degrees F right now.

They’re such fashionistas. They look like any minute they’re about to go ice skating. Coco Chanel would be so proud. All they need are a few strings of pearls, in their case, around their tails. Ask them what they think? 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
They think the pearl idea is terrific but both spoke up for the neck placement and requested a double strand. 😁.

The leopard detail is a chic touch. My dog’s winter coat consists only of his fur, and he sheds it all over the place. Sigh. Give the fashionistas belly rubs from me. Thanks for the smiles, John.

Aw, they look so stylish in their new coats — and I know Texas does get cold, so they’ll be welcome additions to their wardrobes. It’s probably best for them to get adjusted to them gradually so they won’t protest so vehemently when they’re forced to wear them.

They are very cute in their little coats. They have short hair so they may need it. Our pug Daisy got cold but our Leonberger Bronco did not and our mini-Australian Shepherd Rollo does not get cold. Well, at least in the Texas cold, which is not like the Minnesota or Sweden cold.

Yes, Texas cold is not like Northern cold. I used to supervise an area in the Midwest that included Minnesota. The folks there would call it a dry cold I called it cold cold. Thanks, Thomas.
