“Hey Tempeste, come try this Coolaroo.”
“Try what?”
“Coolaroo is the name of this resting place.”
“It is a hilarious name.”
“Yeah, that may be, but taking a break on it is nice.”
“Okay. Since you are the chief rester around here, I’ll take your word.”
“You don’t have to take my word. These things are made by Austrailians.”
“What does that mean?”
“If anyone knows how to rest, it’s the Aussies.”
“You know I have never met an Aussie.”
“They do work hard and play hard. Dad has some relatives there.”
“This thing does smell good and is easy on the feet.”
“I’m not sure, but I think I hear the roar of the dinner bowl.”
“Did you see that the leaves are all cleaned up?”
“Yeah, Dad cleaned them up.”
“There goes another food opportunity.”
“You aren’t supposed to eat leaves. I think the dinner bowl was a false alarm.”
“I’m heading back to the Coolaroo. Could use some nap time.”
“I’ll call you when the dinner bowl is on.”
“You are the best sister. This is nice.”
Did they get this for Christmas? It looks great. Dot and Lia got new snuggly blankets.

My kitties got a new cardboard scratchy couch with catnip. They were impressed for all of 30 seconds…
The Coolaroo looks pretty cool.

Ha ha ha. We had only one cat who liked the cardboard scratch pad. Of couse, he was also the one the splintered our back door.

Yes, I’m sure Tempeste would have feasted on the leaves with a bad result. I hope the roar of the food bowl came soon. Thanks for the adventures of Tempeste and Twiggy. I love them both!

Gotta give it to the Aussies – they come up with the coolest names for things. How lucky are these two to have you two?
Hope your Christmas was lovely!

That’s a nice Christmas gift for the girls. They’re really going to love it in the spring/summer when the concrete heats up. I had something similar for Diva Dog. She loved it too. Hum…do I hear the dinner bowl?

Love the idea of the roar of the dinner bowl. I also find it sweet how Twiggy is in charge no doubt learning it all from her sister Lucy.

I think you are right about where she learned the information she passes to Tempeste.

Cool Coolaroo. I could see it would be useful when the cement is hot. The girls seem to take to it. Christmas present for them?

Nice gift! I’m sure the girls will get a lot of use out of it although I imagine Twiggy eventually wishing she had one of her own ;-).

I had never heard of a coolaroo before and had to Google it. As the name suggests, they are designed to keep dogs cool based on the fabric and design.

Hello girls!
I never heard of a Coolaroo before. My eyes instantly read Colorado. Twiggy and Tempeste are in Colorado? Then my eyes adjusted and I still did not know what the?
Turns out you two have another cool (🤭) hang out.
Excellent!
Tell dad Helloo!
