Views of the Neighborhood – Lakeway Storybook Walk – Conclusion

Today, we are returning to the Lakeway Storybook walk’s Black History Month exhibit. If you missed the first you can go HERE and catch up. I have to let you know the photos were a challenge. It was overcast but the glass fronts on the enclosures reflected all the trees. I did my best but some are marginal. We are catered by Garrison of Austin and our entertainment is Louis Armstrong.

  1. I was in the mood for the porterhouse, but 24 oz.? Yikes!
Great tour and contributions. I’m especially interested in the work of Mae Jemison, I’ll have to look her up.
    Thanks, John.

  2. I was a double major in college-English and history (with actually more credits in history) but figured that English had a bit more job prospects than history. I did not aspire to a career that included “Do you want fries with that?”

  3. My goodness, there are so many wonderful people recognized at the Storybook walk. Hats off to Lakeway! How did you know Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World is my favorite?
