Today, we are returning to the Lakeway Storybook walk’s Black History Month exhibit. If you missed the first you can go HERE and catch up. I have to let you know the photos were a challenge. It was overcast but the glass fronts on the enclosures reflected all the trees. I did my best but some are marginal. We are catered by Garrison of Austin and our entertainment is Louis Armstrong.

It is a wonderful world and all of these amazing folks have helped make it so. Have a super Sunday.

I remember Minnie Riperton’s amazing voice. How she reached that top note in ‘Lovin’ You’ I’ll never know.

I was in the mood for the porterhouse, but 24 oz.? Yikes!
Great tour and contributions. I’m especially interested in the work of Mae Jemison, I’ll have to look her up.
Thanks, John.

I was a double major in college-English and history (with actually more credits in history) but figured that English had a bit more job prospects than history. I did not aspire to a career that included “Do you want fries with that?”

So many amazing people highlighted here! One of the most remarkable moments in my life was being able to thank Rosa Parks in person, shake her hand and have my picture taken with her.

I voted for Shirley Chisholm in some election. She made sense.
And throwing gastric restrictions to the wind, I would have the lamb!

Thanks for the field trip, John — and the music. That grilled red fish sounds good. I’ve been eating more fish for the past couple of weeks. Call me paranoid… LOL. Hugs.
