Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste Inside.

“Twiggy!”

“Mffft. In here.”

“Were you asleep?”

“No, I had to get up and answer someone calling my name.”

“I’m thinking of going outside, but I am not sure.”

“Outside is nice. Why aren’t you sure?”

“Well. It’s getting close to dinner, and I wouldn’t want to miss it.”

“Whenever have you missed dinner?”

Well. Never. There is always a first time, though.”

“Do you think Mom and Dad would allow your skinny butt to miss a meal?”

“Put that way, I guess not.”

“That’s right, so why don’t you live big and hit the backyard.”

“Someone’s got to let me out.”

“Just go to the door and whine. They’ll come running.”

“I don’t know. It looks pretty hot out there.”

“It’s not hot. A nice 75 F degrees (23.8C). Almost perfect weather.”

“Will you come with me?”

“I just got comfortable here on the back of the couch.”

“Does that mean no?”

“Just give me a couple of minutes. Maybe let me close my eyes for a second.”

“Yeah, sure. You close your eyes for a second, and you’ll be out.”

“Mmmmmm yeah out.”

“I’ll wait right here.”

“Mmmmerf snork. ZZZZZZZZZZ

We have had some glorious weather lately, but if yours is as rainy as ours the next couple of days, napping or ‘outdooring’ is going to be an easy decision.

Comfy Twiggy! Love it, John, our cat Rusty is about the size of Twiggy (yep, big boy!), and loves to assume that same comfortable pose on the back of my high-backed rocker. Sitting on his perch, Rusty serves as my cat-hat. Have a great day!
