Today is Easter Sunday, so we are visiting the community Activity Center for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Since rain is threatened, the event has been pulled indoors. We are catered by Austin Taco Project, and our entertainment is Judy Garland and Fred Astaire
Menu
Tajita – Grilled chicken thigh, peppers & onion, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, poblano crema, flour tortilla
Kickin’ Chicken – Crispy buffalo chicken, shaved celery & carrots, cabbage, blue cheese crumble, ranch, flour tortilla
Confit Pig – Braised pork shoulder, cabbage, pineapple pico de gallo, Walter’s secret sauce, corn tortilla
Carne Asada – Beef tenderloin, onions & jalapenos, poblano crema, lime, corn tortilla
Crispy Fish – Corn crusted cod, cabbage, mango salsa, lime sauce, corn tortilla
Nopales – Cactus, mushrooms, cotija cheese, cabbage, pepita vinaigrette, corn tortilla

We do have a lot of children here. The community was founded as a +55 golf resort. It migrated to a family place and is now totally that way. Happy Easter F4oC. Thanks for the comment.

All these events throughout the year, but you’ve never shared the result of your face painting.
I’m having Easter dinner, but I’ll have an appetizer portion of the corn crusted cod, cabbage, mango salsa, lime sauce, corn tortilla.

The painter said there were too many cracks that needed filling, and she didn’t have enough plaster. 😀 The picture on the Easter Bunny’s lap was consumed by fire.

I’m late for the party, but I think I got here when I needed it most. Everything in this post gave me smiles, John. I loved the bunny archway. Although I’m a little disappointed that there is no photo of you getting your face painted… The video is the perfect grand finale though, so you’re forgiven.
