“Hey Twiggy. What do you think, a little ruckus?”
“Tempeste it’s seven o’clock in the morning.”

“Well yeah. A great way to start the day.”
“I’m not so sure about that.”

“Where you going?”
“No where. Just shifting my nap spot.”

“Nap spot? Does that mean no ruckus?”
“You are very quick on ypoir feet. Do you know that?”

“Brother. I wish there was another dog around here.”
“Go get frog dog. He’ll play with you.”

“Even if I pretend hard. He can’t take your place.”
“Okay how about this. A quick nap then we can play.”

“I suppose that can work.”
“Great. Now find something quiet to do.”

“I guess you have a good idea here. Kinda sleepy myself.”
“Terrific. Snork, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
“I need earplugs though.
“ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.”
Today 24 years ago the Twin Towers in New York were destroyed by radical terrorists. Let’s not forget those who’s lives were lost that day.

Here we have morning people and not morning people coexisting.

I can relate to them both, from time to time, I’ve been both morning and non-so-much a morning person.
24-years ago, it seems like yesterday. No – I will not forget.

I still don’t nap, although I’m up and at ’em pretty early.

Well, you ladies, I do believe there are days I have decided that a nap before playtime was the perfect way to restart a day! ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz enjoy! ❤

Thank you, Miss Annette. We think it’s the way to restart every day.

My next door neighbor has given us the delightful job of dog sitting when she and her family go out of town. Shih-Tzu and Chihuahua mix. I keep his bed next to mine so he has company. Snores to beat the band. Little guy. BIG noise. I love it!

Sounds like Twiggy. Tempeste doesn’t snore at all.

I’m usually a morning person but, there are days I feel like Twiggy and a need a nap in the morning.
I’ll never forget.

I think the girls have a good idea. Twiggy’s logic prevails in the end.
I will never forget, John but thanks for the reminder.

It seems so, Dan. You know, I thought about doing a memorial post, but then decided that normal fits a little better.

We need normal, John. No disrespect to the victims or those who still suffer.

Although the Pentagon was not destroyed, it was struck and it burned. It was quite a spirit lifter to see the large American flag flying from what was the Naval Annex or Federal Office Building #2 up the hill from the smoking Pentagon with Arlington Cemetery spread out behind it. We would survive–at least that time the enemy was not from within (or at least perceived as from within).

A grim memory, Pat. I just hope we don’t have another “Death to America” attempt.

I hope not either. My personal opinion is right now we are experiencing a slow death by 1,000 cuts.

Yes, a nap before playtime is necessary sometimes. I won’t forget the 9/11 incidents. They made me explain to some fellow workers that the Sikhs in our laboratory weren’t Arabs, to keep the guys from going after the Sikh engineers.

Thanks for the smiles, John. Maybe there will be an afternoon ruckus.
When you teach for so many years, one day begins to run into another, but I remember I was teaching 2nd grade on 9/11, and many of the children had come to school having just witnessed the horrific images on television. It was a day I’ll never forget.

I’ll never forget 9/11, John. I still can’t watch video clips from that day. I can barely look at photos. It was all so traumatizing. But thank you for honoring the day.
And cute pups. Poor Tempeste will have to wait until after Twiggy’s nap to make a ruckus. 🙂

That IS too early for ruckus. Glad they napped. (Sorry about the need for ear plugs.) Belly rubs to both of them. Thanks for the smiles.
And prayers in remembrance of the tragedies of 9/11.

Twiggy understands how mornings are supposed to go. Since she doesn’t possess opposable thumbs, she can’t have coffee and so the best way to fully wake up is to sleep off the rest of the sleep. Makes perfect sense!
Thank you for the September 11 message

The classic two-person issue – one a morning person and the other not. I suspect if we take any two people in the world it will turn out that way.

I agree, Ankur. You can pick any two, and they are usually husband and wife.
