An Americana, please. Such a wonderful sculpture garden , pleasing to the eyes. And your music selection, 2 pieces, was fantastic. It’s such a pleasure to see and hear the upbeat sound of a full orchestra. Enjoy your break, John.

Our folks used to take us to Belle Isle to hear The Detroit Concert Band all the time! This reminds me of those terrific times.

My husband would be in the front row – he used to play a trumpet and loves brass bands. Salmon gravlax for me today!

I’ll bet he enjoyed playing, too.

He certainly did. My grandson wants to learn to play the tuba. But at his age (5) and size, this may be difficult!

Why the tuba? Maybe a nice little trumpet.

No, he is determined to have a tuba. I have no idea why!

A lovely day for music, thanks John!

There’s something awfully special about music being played outdoors, and a talented brass band can really liven up everybody’s mood. I like the chess players, especially the one on the right who’s deep in concentration!

The band looks great and it is a beautiful sculpture garden. About he menu, I’ll have the Salmon Gravlax but my DNA forbid me to touch the Asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and the Cauliflower.

Well, now that’s a fine kettle of fish. All those beautiful veggies you have to avoid. 😊

I love tomatoes, cucumber, zuchini, but those aforementioned 3 vegetables I should not like according to 23AndMe and they were right. 23AndMe also told me that I’d prefer vanilla icecream over chocolate, unlike my wife, and that was true too.
