Today, we are going to the Lakeway Activity Center to check out the city-wide garage sale. We are catered by  Red Ash of Austin, and our entertainment is The Beatles.

  5. The best one is “bracelets and fishing rods”. There is a back story there for sure. Ha Ha

    And I’ll try the HALF ROASTED chicken. What could go wrong.

  9. How much did you buy, John (or did you find some of your own “gently used treasures” to donate?!?) The nice thing about such a sale is the variety of items … and the fact that it’s all under one roof. Looks like a nice turnout.

  11. This was a fabulous fun outing, John. Thanks for bringing us along. You’ve got to love a tiny woman with a gigantic shopping bag on her shoulder. The Beatles song is the perfect finish. That menu is killing me — every last item sounds delicious. Red Ash of Austin, huh? Yum. Big hugs.

  22. ‘ One man’s junk is another man’s treasure’. Surely, there must’ve been some old golf clubs there. I thought I had a treasure chest with my 1963 McGregor Tourney golf clubs but then I learned that I couldn’t even give them away for free. By the way, I’ll take the lobster.
