My interpretation is titled Say Again and I hope you enjoy it.
Say Again by John W. Howell © 2014
“We are here to play. Right team?”
“Mumble.”
“I can’t hear you.”
“RIGHT.”
“Good now Jones you are up to bat. Casey you’re on deck.”
“Uh coach?”
“What Jones.”
“I’ll bet Casey would do better.”
“What’s the matter? You get bit by a chicken?”
“No sir. I just found out my horse has the bot.”
“What does a sick horse have to do with a ballgame?”
“Nothing to you but to me it is serious.”
“Okay, Jones you are excused. Casey it is your chance to drive one in for Mudville.

And baseball histiry was made! Lol I love it. 🙂

Great job using all the words, John! I wondered how everyone would use the word “bot”… *goes to google “bot” as a disease* haha!

Had horses once. I didn’t capitalize it though.

I had a horse, and worked with them extensively. You still got me with the word though. 😛

As always, John, great dialog. I can see the whole thing play out in my head. Actually, you know what I like about your dialog–because I’ve been trying to figure it out–it’s that it feels so real. Your characters become three-dimensional when I read their lines all because of their dialog.
Cheers, John. Excellent job!
