Friday the Weekend Eve – Haiku

a daffodil

Friday again means time for a little Haiku to help celebrate the fact that we made it all the way. (Okay so maybe there is eight more hours of today, but still tonight be the night. Weekend eve . . . woo hoo). Hopefully you will have a restful weekend and will be able to hit Monday (just seconds away) with vigor. Here is today’s Haiku or maybe a Haiban (not really sure)

It is spring today,

Rivers made of snow cascade . . .

Daffodils now live.

Yea, it is finally Friday! One of the hardest things to do after a vacation is make it through a whole work week 😉 Cheers to you, John. Love the haiku 🙂

Yes it is. Again I believe work is the curse of the drinking class.

On the coast we don’t get them so this was in remembrance.

Those rivers are wrecking havoc around here, but the flowers are pretty 🙂

There’s a lot of snow to cascade this spring in the US from what I’ve been hearing John. Have a good weekend.

Snow cascade…not something I see much of…actually never down here! It is a wonderful phrase though. I hope you’ve had a great weekend John 🙂

I noticed the daffodils, too, coming up. I can’t wait for the tulips as well!

Tulips are the arrival of really good weather. The crocus and daffodils can still pop in the snow.
