Friday is here again and it is definitely time to lift a margarita. Well, we might have to wait until the day is over. I had an occasion to get a comment on another blog to the effect that I had not offered a margarita to this person when they visited. I need to correct that. Just leave a message and I will give you a top shelf tequila, orange liqueur, key lime juice, agave nectar, margarita on the rocks served in a pint mason jar with or without salt. Also, I have available peach salsa, with white and blue corn chips. There is a little cheese dip well. So if any of this interests you step up and place your order. Today’s JohnKu (a term coined by Words4jp) is all about the margarita. It is titled Soothin’ Syrup

Green sour citrus,
Orange and agave nectar. . .
Kissed by tequila.

A rather strong kiss at times too. 🙂

Yeah. I make mine with a 1/4 cup measure. (I only get one per week though)

I’ve never made them. Lack of blender and skill. I do simple stuff that can be repeated on a bad night.

Patron, Grand Marnier, lemon, lime, orange and agave nectar. A little lime around the rim, a little salt dip, ice, shake, pour and I’m good to go. That’s my weekend treat and I only get one. Two if I eat dinner early enough. Happy Friday 🙂

With salt please John. If I drink anything it is usually lager. Margaritas are seemingly better suited for sunnier climes. Enjoy the margarita. Not long to go now.

Here is a pint of margarita. Put it in the freezer until next July.

Margaritas, peach salsa and blue corn chips? Just give me a pallet on the floor and I’d be happy to stay at John Howell’s B&B.
