Friday TGIF – AKA JohnKu

a lamb

This has been a busy week. Here in South Texas we are beginning to feel the spring weather move in. We get some wild fluctuations in temperatures from the day to the nighttime, but this is normal for the spring. We are always glad to see the daytime temperatures move into the seventies. This is the forecast for the weekend so we will hope it comes true. Today’s JohnKu (a term coined by Words4jp) is a reflection of anticipating the spring. Hope you like it.

Spring by John W, Howell © 2015

Comes in lion-like,

Settles like an elephant. . .

Becomes a soft lamb.

Sometimes warm air sources are not all that dependable or pleasant.

Yup. I know some people that can fall into that category.

Jealous to be sure. It was -4f when I left for work. It’s supposed to get all the way up to 17 today. If that lamb were here, people would be eying its wool and looking for shears 🙂

Thanks for reminding me that spring is coming. Not as fast as it is for you, but it’s coming slow and steady.

NOAA hasn’t been much better than groundhogs. We get the weather we get.

Love this. Right now I’m just happy to have dry weather. I hate commuting in the rain 😉

Charles has the right idea. Couldn’t you send us some of that lovely weather. We’re stuck with snow till April.

Spring already, how wonderful. It’s pretty cold in the UK at the moment, but at least there’s a blue sky for a change. Enjoy your warm weekend, should it arrive as forecast.

We have had rainy, cool, long-sleeve weather for a couple of days. I was in flips-flops for a pedicure this afternoon, but put on my fuzzy slippers as soon as I could.

I’ve been in fuzzy’s for a week. Haven’t had flip flops on for a month.
