Here we are to the last workday. This week was so beautiful here. The sun was out all week and it was like a refreshing break from about two weeks of gloomy weather. It seems all things go better in the sunshine. Here is a photo of some hibiscus that are blooming their hearts out right now. During this holiday season, they seem especially festive. A nice reward for all the rain.

Challenges in front,
Seeming to have no purpose. . .
Until the sweet end.

Something green and blooming would look good right about now. Our challenge is winter, but it’s coming in like a lamb.

El Nino is the reason. We are about ten degrees warmer than normal

Have to agree with Dan. Looks like the area is all set for winter, but the weather keeps forgetting. We’re getting into the 60’s this weekend. Hoping this doesn’t mean all of the bad weather is waiting for the worst possible moment.

I am very envious John. It is gloomy and grey here in London though fairly mild. Those hibiscuses sure are impressive specimens. Have a good weekend.

Red and green, but live. Gorgeous. Would love some of that in our dull yet unseasonable temperatures leading up to Christmas. 🙂

Lucky you, John! We’ve had a lot of fog here this week. You’re right — sunny is better! Love your blooming hibiscus!

Good match of words and photo. … and cheers to your great weather. Unseasonable warm here … and forecast is for extra windy during Sunday’s game.
