Funny Friday

This week was interesting. I finished up the final edit on My GRL. Now on to formatting (yay). The formatting should be complete by this time next week. I had a super promotion on Our Justice. I ran two separate media events. The EReader News Today event was far and away the most successful. The BookGoodies event produced a few sales, but the ENT success was in the scale of ten to one sales over BookGoodies. I purposely left the price of Our Justice at $0.99 for both events so I could get an accurate comparison. The cost of the events was $40 for ENT and $25.00 for BookGoodies. Regarding efficiency, there is no question ENT is the most efficient. I will say BookGoodies did produce a bump in sales which other programs have not. I’m still in the dark about what works. I will keep trying, though. Today’s JohnKu talks about trying different things until you find the best solution. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for including the feedback and pricing about the events, John. That’s valuable insight. Since I have zero time for marketing, in this my “grand experiment in indie” I’ve done extremely little that I have to purchase. But for $40…. maybe I’ll opt in for something like that… maybe when I have all three of Pip’s serials “book-ized.”

  I have found ENT to be far and away the best vehicle. Your book needs approval by their staff which usually entails 10 or more reviews at the four star level.

  I have to appreciate the Haiku skill here. The real reason Trump was elected is the Congress totally failed in it’s duty to represent the citizens will. As a result the people wanted a change and that is all Trump ran on. He said he would change everything. I now fear we will be in a situation where the Congress will again fail in it’s duty to provide checks and balances. If Trump fails the next level will be for citizens to take the situation into their own hands. The world should pray that that does not happen. So in essence if Trump succeeds in changing things for the better all will be good.
