Another week has bit the dust. (wait, maybe that should be bitten the dust. Oh well) I hope it was a good one. I made some progress on the latest WIP and am feeling good about the story. I was going to jump into the edited version of Circumstances of Childhood but ran out of time. I don’t have much new information on the Amazon Marketing Service. The impressions are huge but the clicks are few. I don’t have a handle on how to turn impressions into clicks and clicks into sales. I have launched the latest with over 800 key words. This has helped the impressions but little else. The campaign runs until June 16th so I’m going to let it ride.
Today’s JohnKu talks about wanting to do one thing and then doing another. I hope you all have a wonderful week.
What Happened? by John W. Howell
The plan for today,
Was doing work over there. . .
Why am I still here?
I can so relate to your JohnKu. Love the sign! Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day Weekend, John!

Really funny, John. I wonder if the guy at the beginning was getting pulled over by the highway patrol. That would do it. 😀 — Suzanne

This reminds me that I have an Amazon ad in action. Sort of. Not seeing any signs of it doing more than costing me money. Wonder if some genres are more competitive than others. I see tons of fantasy, but have yet to run into my own ad like when I first tried it. Have a fun weekend and hope your ad picks up.

The Amazon mystery gets deeper and deeper. I’m not sure I’ll ever get it solved.

You will. Then they’ll change the rules.

Of course, then the editing comes to a halt. Damn why can’t there be two of me. Wait! I wouldn’t wish that on anybody. 😀

Love the opening sign – thought maybe someone would get a Molson out of it. Congrats on the productive week, good sir! When I think about all the effort it takes to set up that Amazon Marketing gig, I am discouraged from trying it again. That’s self-defeating though… sigh.

Another apt Johnku. Huge impressions and few clicks seems to be the norm with these things. Never mind I am sure we will get there in the end. Have a good weekend.

Your meme is perfect. Suppose I can use it for the welcome I have to give at a banquet tomorrow night? It is for high school alumni..seems fitting. 🤓
Enjoy your weekend, John.

I know the feeling , John. When it comes, just walk away to something else—something fun and restful for a change.
