Thursday – A little Personal – Stella

Stella

“Hello Reader.”

Hello, Stella. What’s up?

“You know John is out right?”

“Yes, I know. Do you need something?”

“Come in here and look at these two.”

Lucy and Bailey

“Lucy and Bailey? Looks like they are playing.”

Yeah, on my turf.”

Stella

“This is my rug and my office.”

“I thought it was John’s.”

Stella

You are joking, right? He borrows it from me.”

“Oh, I didn’t know.”

“And thoseย two keep coming in here. Rolling around and making a mess.”

Lucy and Bailey

“It certainly looks like they are having fun.”

“I need to find someone who understands.”

Stella

“Wait, Stella. I understand your problem.”

“You do?”

Stella

“Well ย then, go lay on that couch and I’ll kneadย your stomach”

“I really have to go.”

***

I am out of the country and will try to respond when I can.

Too cute…yep, under that Thriller writer facade, there’s a writer of children’s books. Stella is the queen, she’s declared herself today. LOL ๐Ÿ™‚ Loved the dialogue.

    1. Ha ha ha. Thanks, Gwen. ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Leave the doggies alone, you bullying feline!

  4. I do understand Stella! Think of them as your body guards.

    1. They are for sure. Thanks, Pam.

  5. I see you’ve left your blog in good hands, er, paws while you’re gone. You may have to borrow more than the office when you get back, John – these guys are pretty good writers. Love the photos, and I do think that’s how cats see the world.

    1. Thanks, Dan. There guys stay with me when I’m in my office. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. You mean their office, don’t you? In either case, it must be a fun place to work.

      2. We all like it. ๐Ÿ˜€

  6. Guess somebody has to claim your office while you’re gone. Not surprised it’s the cat. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I’m not surprised.

  7. I am sure your fur babies do miss you and without a doubt, you miss them as well. Great shots and dialogue!

    1. Thank you, Jan. I’m enjoying these.

    1. She loves me. Thanks, John

      1. Of that, I have no doubt, good sir!

  10. Oh, Stella…so dramatic. The tummy kneading I’d take with caution.

    1. Gotta keep those claws clipped for sure.

  11. Like Dan said, the pets are doing a great job.

    1. They are. Thanks Greg.

  12. I think Stella and I could be great friends. Hope you’re enjoying vacation, John!

  19. Delightful, John. ๐Ÿฑ The finish with tummy-kneading made me smile. I’d forgotten about that. Crystal is not affectionate in that way (don’t get me wrong, she demands attention). Ouch!!! I remember the multi-clawed kneading. ๐Ÿ˜€ I hope you’re having a great time. Hugs.

    1. I’m having a support time. Thanks.

  20. Really enjoyed this. My Toby was like that. Lived till 24 and I really miss him.

    1. Aw. Sorry for your loss, Micki. I miss my Frankie too.
