As you may know, I’m in the process of moving and today is unload day at the new location. So today’s Top Ten Things Not to Do has only one thing times ten.
10 – 1 If you are moving, do not try to do a quality top ten list. If you do, at best you’ll embarrass yourself. At worst you’ll have to answer to Tiny the WWF champ who just finished grammar cop school. (Sure you only missed a couple of commas, John. Try explaining that to Tiny before the knuckle sandwich finds its mark)
I’ll be back tomorrow.

I hope the move goes well, John. We’re currently on the point of placing our house in France on the market with a view to returning to the UK after 13 years. Mind you, that depends on (a) what this house realises, (b) what we’ll have to pay for a house in the UK and (c) how much of a pig’s ear the current alleged government makes of leaving the world’s largest market in what may prove to be history’s greatest ever act of national hubris.

Your rural life looked so sweet. Like us I guess you hanker for something else. We didn’t even consider the downside we just did the move. Thanks for sharing, Keith.

All the best to you, John. I’m wishing you and the producer much laughter as you tackle the disruption. I’ve always found the unpacking part of a move to be the most challenging. But then, I didn’t have Twiggy to keep me in giggles. 🙂

Twiggy is liking the challence of trying to beat us to the door. She wants to run wild and free. Thanks, Gwen.

I laughed as soon as I read the title. It didn’t make any difference what came after — I already was amused and sympathetic. I hope all goes well.

Think of all the “STUFF”you got rid of before the move!
(You did get rid of stuff, didn’t you???)

No we just packed it up with the idea of getting rid of it when we got here. Like we did for the past five moves.

Wonderful, John. I think Tiny would agree. Unloading, organizing, and R&R are all your number one right now. And of course Lucy and Twiggy. Best to you!
