“So Twiggy. What do you have there?”
“A new toy.”
“Geez. I wonder where mine is?”
“You can play with mine.”
“I don’t know. It doesn’t look big enough for two.”
“No, it’s not. But we can take turns.”
“Yeah, I think that would work.”
“Its name is Starfish. It has a squeaker too.”
“Okay, now it’s your turn.”
“You sure?”
“Sure, I’m sure. You go ahead. Take it for a ride.”
“You know this is my nap time.”
“Yeah, I didn’t pay attention to the time.”
” How about you play with it for a while? I’ll call you.”
Okay then, Lucy. You have a nice nap, and I’ll go play.”
“Uh-huh. Good deal. Snozzzzzzz.”
🎶”Twinkle, twinkle little star. How I wonder what you are.”🎶
🎶”Laying in the sea so low. Watching the tides come and go.”🎶
🎶”I think you would rather be. With your pals in the deep blue sea.”🎶
“Twiggy?”
“Yes, Lucy.”
“I would leave the singing to Taylor Swift.”
“Hedgehog likes it.”
LOL! So cute, John. Poor Lucy, now I want to send her a new toy. Happy Thursday! I’m soooo ready for the weekend.

Love the singing. Though I’m with Lucy on nap time.

Cute dialog, John. BTW, is it my imagination or has Twiggy put on a few pounds?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No, she has been the same weight for about three months. 20 pounds. Maybe it is her new coat coming in for winter. (BTW I didn’t let her see this comment. She is a teen you know. 😁)

What a performance, dear John! How curious! I thought about Twiggy & stars some time ago. And here she is! I hope that Starfish is happy too. By the way…this new friend of her is it He or She?

Wonderful! I’d name her Fie-Fie (from Funnie) 🙂 So, there are three pretty girls in your house, dear John. What costumes are they preparing for the Halloween doggy party?

We try to hide on Halloween. Twiggy gets way too upset at the door chime and people.

What a smart dog she is! And you too, of course! May this Halloween be less irritating for all of you. 🙂

Twiggy is so darn cute, John. I love the way dogs get when they have a new toy. It was good of her to share. What’s the over/under on the squeaker’s life expectancy? We have some that last years and some that don’t it through the first day.

Lately, the squeakers have been pretty substantial. Usually, one tooth ends them in a day but they have been lasting quite a long time. Thanks, Dan.

So cute, and that last line is hilarious. Frankie will abandon her toy if Otto gets a replacement for one of his. He gets a new ball, and she refuses to play with her perfectly good one until she gets a new one too.

We see some of that in Twiggy. Lucy couldn’t care lless but if she gets something new, Twiggy is all over it.

It’s always fun to get a new toy! It’s apparent that Lucy is more interested in naps than toys. 🙂

These two are too adorable. If I lived near by, I’d buy another Starfish toy. Although I’m not so sure Lucy is that interested, particularly after hearing Twiggy sing.

She is not, Pamela. She just pretends to want one. We actually bought one for her and she has no interest.

I took about ten of that scene and picked that one shot. I was going to have her say “Of all the ginmills in this world she had to walk into mine.” I thought the reference might have gotten lost. 😁
