“Hey twiggy. What are you doing?”
“Hiding from Lucy. I’m going to jump her.”

“Going to be tough. She’s outside.”
“Oh for heaven’s sake. I better go out.”

“Hey, Lucy. What are you doing?”
“I was going to go and have a lay down in the sun.”

“Aw come on. There are more fun things than that to do.”
“Like pick up a stick?”

“Yeah. I just found this one.”
“Mama’s going to be very upset with you chewing sticks.”
“Okay let’s go to the sun.”

“Now isn’t this better. So warm.”
“It’s warm alright. But….”

“But what?”
“Boring. Look at this acorn in the rock over here.”

“You better not eat it. I’m leaving you now.”
“What? What did I say?”

“Hey, Lucy. Aw, come on back. I’ll sit in the sun with you. Lucy? LUCY.”

Lucy has the right idea! I’d be soaking up that gorgeous sunshine too.

It was a beautiful day yesterday. Temps in the 70’s and lots of sun. Thanks, Jill.

Aw, poor Twiggy. Those twigs and acorns and rocks are soooo interesting. They almost beg to be picked up. Lucy’s a good big sister, trying to keep her out of trouble.

When Twiggy starts barking outside, Lucy gives her a whack. It is laugh out loud funny. Lucy knows barking is not allowed. She does try to keep Twiggy in line for sure. Thanks, Dan

If Lucy doesn’t like twigs or acorns, I’m sure Twiggy could find something else – the couch is for naps!

Lucy owns the couch. Thanks, GP.

This pair always makes me smile, no matter what they’re up to. Do you have live oaks, or did that acorn come in over the fence?

The neighbor has a live oak that forms a canopy over our yard. We are on the look out for acorns which can make a dog sick. I’m glad you get a smile, Linda. 😊

Poor Twiggy. She’s such a kid and just wants to play.
BTW, that beautiful sun looks wonderfully warm. I woke up to 16 degrees and ice this morning. I’d definitely sit with Lucy in the sun!

Oh my goodness. 16 degrees? We would die. It was a beautiful day. Temps in the 70’s and lots of sunshine. (We start to shiver at 58 degrees) Thanks, Mae.

Hiding to jump out on Lucy – the same thing my son’s cat, Sora, does to Bond when she’s here. Bond just recovered from Sora’s holiday visit, and she’ll be here again this weekend. Fun to watch them, but a lot of fur on the Swiffer after she’s gone, lol.

It snowed here and I have a hole in my boot. Where is mom with her stock of bread bags when I need her. She used to make us wear them over our stockings for just such times. Enjoy your sunny day.

Ya gotta love siblings! These two seem to get along well, despite their not being actual sibs. Love how they interact — I’d be with Lucy, soaking up the sun like a lizard!

Looks like the idea perfect day to sun:) Our fur baby thinks fire wood is a good chew toy….no matter how many times I discourage that.

Yeah. Logs make good chew toys for sure. (Well except for the splinters) Was a great day in the sun. Thanks, Denise.

Little sisters can be annoying. Twiggy is really trying hard, and Lucy thinks she is just trying – the other definition.

So true, Jennie. Sometimes Lucy wants Twiggy to leave her alone. You can tell cause she pins Twiggy down and won’t let her go.
