“Hey, Lucy. Look at these spots before my eyes”
“That’s dappled sunlight, Little One.”
“Who invented that?”
“The Big Dog over the Rainbow bridge.”
Hello, Friday you big beautiful thing you. It is so nice to see you again. Yes, indeed, it is Friday and close to the weekend.
This week has been pretty much a non-event. Yes, I worked on my WIP and am please about that. The new month started, and I can’t believe it is April already. Other than that not much to say
Today’s JohnKu talks about what to do when blogging news is scarce.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

I love the wisdom of your haiku, John, and of course, the dappled sunlight Twiggy discovered. May you and yours enjoy the Rainbow bridge this weekend. π

In my early years of blogging, I enjoyed reading a Danish woman who had this tagline atop her page: “If I don’t have anything to say, I won’t say it.” That’s a lot of wisdom, right there.

Thereβs been a lot of that in my life lately. I toned down my blogging until something interesting came along.

My blog is a matter of creating fiction so for most days I don’t have to worry about my life and what it means to the blog. Friday is the only day where I try to say something about current affairs. I really didn’t feel like talking of mass shootings, the political scene, or COVID so not much else going on.

Those are getting a little rusty, now that you mention it. The pups are a lot more interesting.

Spring has sprung, we’re all getting vaccinated, your WIP is coming along and we still visit each other almost every day – what more can we ask for?

I’m sitting on the chaise with Twiggy and Lucy enjoying the 91 degree temperature. I guess I am taking advantage. π

Not to show off…but we are basking in our 75 degrees over here. I’ve been in and out of the house all day (Have to pretend to work a little… as I go in and out…)
And very glad you are taking advantage!

Well, in reality, I’m actually in total shock and blissful that maybe, just maybe we won’t freeze our arses off next week for my birthday – something that has not happened in years!

Ah I always feel that when you have nothing to say then talk about nothing; a complete absence it brings to mind, “The unbearable lightness of being” by Milan Kundera. I read it years ago. Terrible book, Very many loved it.I have no idea why other than that the writing was rather good but the story (what little there was of it in a long book) was just a fellow trying to excuse his many infidelities.Won the Nobel prize; Mr Kundera. I love it when I have nothing to say, it helps me think, to imagine, to remember and then I always have something to say. Have a great Friday.

The JohnKu made me laugh – put opening with the Rainbow Bridge did create an initial panic. Meanwhile, I wonder what Twiggy will say when she becomes the elder and the Yoda of a youngster.
