Thursday – A Little Personal – Lucy and Twiggy Look for the Sun.

“Where you off to Little One?”

“I’m trying to see if I can locate some sunshine.”

“Having any luck?”

“Look at my ears. They’ll tell you I’m not.”

“I don’t know what to say. But, sometimes in life, a little rain must fall.”

“after all that cold weather, not today.”

“You can still layout on the lounge.”

“What’s the point? Lay there and be sprinkled on?”

“Well, okay, I see you are determined to be miserable.”

“It’s not that. I was just looking forward to a nice sunbath.”

“And I have been waiting for a T-Bone steak. Sometimes we get disappointed.”

“Where you going?”

To find some positivity.”

“Hey, wait. There is a UPS truck pulling up.”

“Well done on the UPS truck. I think he is in St Louis by now.”

“You were right. A little positivity goes a long way. Nothing like a bark-a-thon to set the day right.”

“you feel better?”

“On top of the world.”

I hope Lucy and Twiggy find some sun soon. Dot and Lia are soaking it all up here. I can´t get them to come inside.

Twiggy and Lucy need to hear the Beatles song “Here Comes the Sun.” and then a couple of steak bones would lift their spirits.

Poor things. I think you should play some Annie for them. You know… “the sun will come out tomorrow.” That’s going to be my philosophy for today, too. We’ve got the dismal gray stuff and rain. At least it’s better than the cold (thinking positive as Lucy says!).

They’re everywhere! They’re everywhere! You should see the dog poops around our neighborhood, especially as the snow melts. Our Daisy does 99% of her poops in our yard because she’s been trained on a schedule to go out for a poop run a little while after she eats,?twice a day. Otherwise, we always carry a poop bag. Last summer, there was a ‘poop’ war on our neighborhood Facebook page. Some neighbors were really going at it. I actually enjoyed the back & forth, as a ‘spectator’. When people get riled up, they be one creative writers😂. Goodnight, John.

I see red when I come across poop. Fortunately it is a rare occurrence in our neighborhood. There is no defense for letting a dog do its business and then leaving it.

Exactly. Now, I’m not a fan of putting my hand in a bag and snatching it off the ground, but it has to be done. Which is why in ‘invented’ the ‘poo-poo platter’. No, not the one you find on certain menus. I’m talking a ‘collection’ system so the poop never touches the ground. I write about it and will find it. Quite proud of myself…

John, not a piece of poop has touched my grass since my ‘invention’ unless I don’t bend over quickly enough…and that’s problematic 😂. The problem is that NY banned the small plastic bags used in grocery stores so I need to come up with something new. 🤓
