Views of the Neighborhood – Lakeway Enchanted Forest

Today we are taking a trip to the Lakeway Enchanted Forest. This is an installation sponsored by the Parks and Recreation department. It features many things to see on a leisurely stroll along a path. We are catered by Honey Moon Spirit Lounge. Our entertainment is Bruce Springsteen.

Now it is time for brunch and to listen to Bruce Springsteen’s Thunderroad.

  9. I think I’d have enjoyed setting up something like this! And Monkey, especially, needs to read the sign reminding us to respect nature (he’s got a LONG way to go before he does that, ha!) Great outing, John.

    Honey Moon Spirit Lounge – what a spread… My goodness, I think I gained five pounds just reading the menu.

  13. What a wonderful tour! I think little children – and adults – would be enchanted by it! EVERYTHING on that menu looks out of this world, but I’ll settle on the French omelet. Yum!

  17. Happy Birthday John. Wish we could meet on Lady Bug Lane for a Birthday toast. And I think these pictures are some of your best. They are so inviting. Love that green trellis. There’s something English about it. Perhaps it’s that shade of green…Irish Green is what I’d call it. Have the happiest of days.

    OK, I finally get my potato pancakes and they are ruined with pastrami! No no no. I’m a purist. Sour cream. That’s it. I’ll have to take the fried tomatoes!!!!!

        2. You might be right. It might stop the drooling. However, I’m still working on that barrel of wine from a bunch of posts ago! The empty 3/4 of the barrel seems to have developed a mould problem.
