Views of the Neighborhood – Bee Cave Sculpture Park – Part I

The Producer was out scouting for some new views and discovered the Bee Cave sculpture park. I think you will find it as interesting as we did. We are being catered to today by Veracruz All Natural. Our entertainment is Sara Evans.

Menu

Quesadilla Choose: grilled steak, grilled chicken, al pastor, or veggie on flour or corn tortillas with Monterey Jack cheese. Served with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo

Migas Taco: Egg, tortilla chips, tomato, onion, cilantro, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado (vegetarian)

El Sancho Taco: Chorizo, egg, Monterey Jack cheese

El Breakfast Taco: Choose 2 items: bacon, chorizo, egg, potato, refried pinto beans, cheese

El Tradicional Taco: Egg, bacon, refried pinto beans, potato, Monterey Jack cheese

Migas Poblanas Taco: Egg, tortilla chips, poblano pepper, red onion, black beans, queso fresco, avocado (vegetarian)
El Diferente Taco: Refried pinto beans, potato, mushroom, poblano pepper, corn, avocado (vegan)
La Reyna Taco: Egg, mushroom, carrot, spinach, cilantro, onion, red bell pepper, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado (vegetarian)
Furioso Taco: Refried black beans, cauliflower, carrot, corn, spinach, salsa macha, avocado (vegan)
Shrimp Macha Taco: Sauteed shrimp, rice, salsa macha, green onions, avocado
Grilled Fish Taco: Grilled tilapia, cabbage, mango pico, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado, side of chipotle mayo salsa
Doรฑa Reyna Taco:
Mole negro (gluten-free, contains peanuts) grilled chicken, onion, queso fresco
Grilled Chicken Taco: Cilantro, onion, queso fresco, avocado

Grilled Steak Taco: Cilantro, onion, queso fresco, avocado

This plaque honors the donors. The park was established by a call to artists by the Bee Cave Arts Foundation.

This is Bee Hive mentioned in the plaque by Susan Gulla O’Leary.

Hard Headed Man by Anthony St. James.

The Flame Man by Terry Condrasky.

This one is titled, What? It could even be without a question mark, What. by John Huke.

The Prelude by Itsik Benshalom is the largest sculpture in the park.

Birdview by Terry Condrasky is suspended from the trees.

Inspired World by Mel Meyer is certainly brightly colored.

You have to look close to see the wings of Great Bird by Peter Mangan.

  7. Interesting park. Iโ€™m curious what the beehive thing is though. They really have bees living in it?

    1. The town of Bee Cave was founded and named after a cave of bees that were in residence. The bee hive is symbolic and no bees live in there.

      2. I do have a photo of some wasps building a nest in a bird feeder that was next to the bee hive. No bees though.
