Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Lucy Solving a mystery

“Lucy. What the heck is cheeseburger doing in the yard?”

“I don’t know. Did you leave her out there last night?”

“No way. She’s not an outside toy. So I don’t know how she got there.”

“There has to be an answer. Cheeseburgers just don’t get up and walk outside.”

“Where you going?”

“I’m going to have a look. There might be a clue at the scene of the crime.”

“You been in Dad’s TBR again? What do you see at the so-called ‘scene of the crime?'”

“You gotta be careful. Don’t want to disturb any evidence.”

“Alright, Inspector Clouseau. What did you find out?”

“Looks like dad is on the patio. Hey dad. Know anything about this cheeseburger?”

“Yeah, I accidentally dropped it. I’ll pick it up on the way in.”

“Man, that was an anti-climax if I ever heard one.”

“Yeah, you would think maybe it would have been an alien carry-out or something. Hey, Mom.”

“Why are you calling Mom? Another mystery?

“Thinking about lunch and want to get my order in early.”

“You have been reading fiction, haven’t you?”

“A little, I guess.”

  3. Still no proof that aliens didn’t mind control you to take out the cheeseburger.

    1. That is very true, Charles. No proof at all. 😂

  4. Or if not an alien, a ghostly presence could have possessed you, John! 😆 Sending ear scratches to the girls. Have a great day 💕🙂

  5. And there was I thinking the cheeseburger had been left by Yosemite Sam or some such.
Just so you know, Trevor died peacefully yesterday morning. Whilst I wasn’t actually cuddling him, I was actively comforting him as he faded away.

      1. Thanks, John. I don’t think Eos has noticed yet (although I did make sure she saw him before I took him to the vet for cremation). Either that or she doesn’t care. My money is on the latter.

      2. She may have her own way of dealing with Trevor being gone. Indifference can be a big coping tool. 😊

    1. Oh dear. This reminds me. I have to turn on the dragon warning system. I keep forgetting. 😁

OT- I like the Editor’s pink cruiser with white seat! 😀
