Today we are going to search Lakeway for signs of Easter. We are being catered by Another Broken Egg of Austin. Our entertainment is Bing Crosby.
Menu
Let’s go.
Our first stop is a fancy bunny mail topper.
Next is another bunny but one looking very content.
The purple house has gone all out with Easter Baskets (in the skeleton’s flanges) and eggs.
Now, this is an Easter display that you may remember from last year.
Bunny guards the door.
Here are some pretty sketchy carrots. The spring wreaths look good.
Bunny-eared tortoise. Yes, that is a bunny tail on the tortoise too.
An egg flag is always welcome.
A happy Easter message to all of us.
An easter egg hunt to finish the tour.
So let’s enjoy the food and Bing Crosby.
Hi John,
interesting, we don’t have any Easter decorations here except empty eggs hanging in bushes or trees.
Keep well

Some very cute bunnys out there in your neck of the woods. We are now in the middle of nowhere in Ireland and get hares. 🤗

We used to have hares at the Gulf of Mexico coast. They are big and fast. Thanks, Bee.

They are indeed. The one that hopples around our house is a young one though and still has to learn the ways of the world 😊

Here in South Africa, Easter decorations are unknown. But some families do organise Easter Egg hunts on a modest scale,in their own gardens, for very small kids. The shops, of course, are crammed with chocolate Easter Eggs and Hot cross buns.

Oooooh. Hot cross buns. Haven’t had one in years. Thanks for the memory, Alison

I’ll have the Shrimp Benny please – that sounds delicious!

Another great Sunday neighborhood tour, John. Love all the decorations, especially that second bunny on the mailbox. (I think I’d leave him out all year!) Not so sure why the skeletons are helping with Easter, but what do I know. All in all, you have a most amazing neighborhood, and I love the way everyone gets into the spirit of each holiday or occasion. Thanks for sharing! 😀 ❤

I don’t think anyone understands the skeletons but they join in for the holiday.

How about a picture of your front door area with all the protection? Would be fun to see a bunny and other deco out front by the moat, etc.
Happy Easter from Peter Cottontail.

The auto machine gun system eliminated the stuffed toys since the AI assumed they were aggressors. Going to careful next time. All that fluff now needs to be raked up.

I was distracted by the shrimp ‘n grits offering, but I did like the two bunny mail toppers.

I’ll have an order of the Shrimp & Grits, please. That would be divine.
So, skeletons for Easter… Does Tim Burton secretly live there? (Nightmare Before Christmas) I love the turtle in the bunny costume. Thanks for the tour, John. Hugs.

That tortoise is quite festive, but I wonder if anyone bothered to ask it first before making it into a less-stoic Easter bunny? No worries, I’m sure it enjoys being the center of attention no matter what costume it has on.

Reading the list makes me hungry. I love that they decorate their gardens in the states. We used to make Easter bonnets at school and cards but that is about as exciting as it gets.

What a great song … and what a gorgeous voice Bing had! My mom was a HUGE fan of hats and forced us girls to wear them, too. Needless to say, we weren’t fans, ha! I’m still giggling over the tortoise with bunny ears and fluffy tail.

I suppose I could stuff down a waffle… but just 1 waffle with a bit of syrup.
The 2 opening bunnies are gorgeous, and the turtle rabbit had me on the floor!
Okay, grabbing a link or 2 and on my way.
Was going to grab a pic of you from your author page, but it has vanished into a 404 error.
No worries, I nabbed one off of Sally’s blog.

I suspect those skeletons are just too challenging to take down and put back up so they thought, what the heck, let’s just adorn them with appropriate attire for the current holiday!😂😂
