We don’t often see deer around here. Thanks for sharing yours. The flowering shrubs are beautiful, but the deer steal the show. Brisket and beans sounds good to me. Have a great day, John.

Saw some deer driving up to Cape Cod. Although, it makes me wonder something. Is there anything in the area that eats the deer?

Around here, no. Other places, mountain lions

Love those crepe (crappy) myrtles. How nice the deer feel safe in the neighborhood. We’re having roast turkey for dinner today so maybe the peach tea braised pork belly with jalapeno slaw?

Sounds like a good choice for food. The deer are very safe. We all live together. Thanks, Noelle.

Every time I see these lovely crepe myrtles, I miss the ones I used to have in my yard! They’re such prolific bloomers, even in all your heat. And those deer look plenty healthy, too. Thanks for another great bus tour, John.

The flowers are beautiful and I enjoyed seeing different varieties of Bird of Paradise, but the fawns!!! SO CUTE!!! ❤

They are the cutest. some of them are pretty cheeky. One stomped its little hoof at the Producer and Twiggy the other day. It wasn’t happy to have a dog around.

Great views, John! Thanks for sharing.
Those fawns are really cute. This year, we have only two around. And our regular “mama with twins” is not around. 😒 Hopefully she is still ok and just at a different location.
Have a great Sunday afternoon,
Pit

We have our regulars and it does become a worry to us when they don’t come around for a while. They do eventually show up so maybe that will happen.

A splendid tour, John. A menu packed with carbs and meat — I won’t complain. 😀
The crape Myrtles are gorgeous, and so are the deer. Although that first group looks a little nervous. Better let them know that venison wasn’t on that menu.
This week, maybe we need to live on ice cream, sorbet, and fruit pops… I wonder if anybody makes a New York Strip ice cream… Hugs.

IAlthought the New York strip ice cream sounds good I think I could go for a nice serving of moca chocolate chunk. I wonder if anybody makes it?

I didn’t care much for ice cream before I moved here. Anyhow, you know I couldn’t resist Googling “meat ice cream” — and I found some truly disgusting products. Although this particular recipe just might have potential. They made a cute article of it anyway. Philadelphia cheese steak ice cream. I think I’ll stick to the traditional flavors. LOL.

We were behind as well. I think the winter cold here threw all of them off.

Just a bit of potato salad, please! The flowers are all gorgeous … we’re still waiting for ours to bloom … the ones the squirrels didn’t dig up, that is! But the deer … oh, the deer stole my heart! So many deer in your neighborhood … I love them! Thanks for the tour this Sunday morn, John. Have a great week ahead!
