Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy Back at Work

“Hey, Twiggy.”

“Hi, Dad, what’s up?”

“I see you are playing with your honey and bees.”

“I really like this toy. You have to pull the bees out of the hive.”

“Looks like fun. Did you enjoy Aunt Beth’s visit?”

“I sure did. We had a lot of fun together. We bonded again.”

“What was the best part?”

“I think the best was when she stroked my ears and played with my fur. The snuggles were good too.”

“Do you miss her?”

“Well, of course, I do, but the nice part is knowing she will be back.”

“That is so true. Visits are great knowing you’ll see the person again.”

“I think that’s what I said. Um, excuse me, but I have to get this bee out of the hive.”

“Looks like it is getting away from you.”

“Yeah, this floor does make it difficult.”

“Looks like you are back in control.”

“Yup, got that one, and there is one more.”

“Looks like a lot of work.”

“Yeah, but someone has to do it.”

“I think you are the best person for the job.”

“I suppose I’m the only person for the job. Not too many stuffed bee pullers around.”

“How right you are.”

        1. I have no doubt. yours were the best. The daughters and I had lunch and we had to send $18 margaritas back. Someone didn’t know what they were doing. Of course, we were comparing them to mine. 😁

        2. Well now… I wouldn’t dream of comparing them to yours since, from what you say, yours are the best… they were damn tasty, though! And that is terrible – a bad margarita is an awful thing. You shoulda gone behind the bar to show ’em 😉

  3. Glad you had a nice visit. Goodbyes are always easier knowing there will be another visit. When Twiggy isn’t busy with the bees, give her some ear scratches from me. Thanks for the Thursday smiles, John.

        2. Thank you, John. I’m so glad it was okay to ask. It seems like yesterday when Bailey crossed the rainbow bridge and precious Twiggy joined the family. How does a dog tear an ACL?

        5. Yeah, it was not a pretty picture. We are making sure she doesn’t do that again. We could do surgery but would rather do a natural process which includes making sure she doesn’t jump off or on things and PT. So far it is working,

  24. Glad you all had a nice visit, John. It’s hard on our pups when the young’uns have to leave and go back to their lives, but I think it’s great that they know they’ll be back again. Twiggy’s beehive is cute, but Monk would have that thing destroyed in an hour’s time!

  42. Oh wow Twiggy! Where did you get the cool beehive toy from?

    I’d have you come here to pull stuffed bees out of my stuffed hive, but I only have carpenter bees. They’re bee busy carpentering the wood fence out back.
