I hope you enjoyed the brief trip. Sit back and enjoy the food and music. I hope you have a super week. Here is Simon and Garfunkel with I Am A Rock

Dear John
children in our village paint pebbles from the beach and sell them to tourists from doorstep of their homes.
We have a few painted pebbles in our garden which make us smile.
Wishing you a happy Sunday

Thank you for sharing that information. I’ll bet there are some sweet pebbles created by the children. I hope you have a great week F4oC.

During the pandemic, this gave people a creative outlet while passing the time. Do you find the tradition is still being utilized?
I’ll have the Carbonara. It’s been a long time since I’ve had one done right!!
LikeLiked by 1 person
The rock installation is new so it looks like the tradition will continue. One Carbonara coming up. 😁

What a fun walk, John. Our yard is covered with rocks, but they’re not as beautiful as the ones you’ve featured. Nice to hear Simon and Garfunkel chime in – brings back memories. I hope your Sunday is perfect. 😊

As always, I’m impressed by the creativity and fun that is promoted in your area, John. Such a wonderful way to celebrate life and bring people out to see what’s happening. I especially loved this idea — totally rockin’!!! (Sorry. Couldn’t help myself.)
Thanks for sharing, and hope you have a great day! 😀 ❤

I find rocks like these left randomly in the park. They always make me smile. Painting them looks like a fun activity.
I’ll go with the Spaghetti Carbonara

Fun walk today, John. Many schools in our area have a big rock out front. During the school year they’ll paint different messages. I enjoy reading them. Great tune from S&G! I love their music! Wishing you a peaceful Sunday.

I hid an inspirational rock in the garden of our last house before we moved. I wonder if the new owners have found it yet.

If they have you would think they would let you know. What a fun idea, Vera.

T)ell me, have you ever tried any of these restaurants? Just curious!
As for the rocks, I love that this practice has spread all over the place. It’s a beautiful gesture.
What beautiful harmonies these two had!
(Sorry for the bombardment in comments. I am catching up and WP has decided I can no longer comment on your blog but must go through the Reader! You and another blogger, at this point. Sigh.
Have a marvellous Sunday!

Yes I have tried some. Not this one though. The rocks are a great way to spread goodwill. You are the second who says they can’t comment. What happens?

I love painted rocks. A man at a coffee shop we frequent painted a picture of our little dog Lia on a rock and gave into us. Very special. The perfect song once again!

Seems like a fun little distraction. There was a group here that hung random bells for people to find and keep for a few years.

I love, love this! My class will be painting rocks, too. Our local police station has a similar ‘leave a rock, take a rock’ display. It really does make people feel good.
