I see you are having an after-breakfast play session with Bee Mine.”
“Yes, Bee Mine and I have a standing date.”

“It is so nice to have a friend like Bee Mine.”
“I’m telling you, Dad, I wouldn’t know what to do without Bee Mine.”

“What makes Bee Mine so special.”
“She is always ready to play and listens to my troubles without judgment.”

“Troubles? What troubles do you have?”
“You may be the last person on Earth who should ask that question.”

“What do you mean I should be the last?”
“Well, I hate to say it, but you may not cause trouble, but you might be a carrier.”

“A carrier. What does that mean?”
“Like right now. I need to get to your other side for a nap.”

“All you have to do is crawl over me.”
“And push you out of the way. Very troublesome.”
“Looks like you managed.”

Mom’s going to exercise. Say goodbye, and I need some breakfast.”
“Here are more troubles. Will she come back?”

“Of course, she’ll be back. Why so close, chum?”
“Well, when one of you is gone, I need some comfort.”

“Or the hope of getting something out of my cereal bowl?”
“Now that you mention it, there is a certain attraction to it.”

“You have had your breakfast.”
“If you could spare a flake, it would go a long way to easing my troubled mind.”

Twiggy sounds like my dogs, especially Lia. I guess she snuggled in close to hubby while I was gone for two weeks. Then wouldn’t leave my side when I returned. Dot’s only trouble is her annoying little sister.

This is one of the best! I love the attachment to the Bee-Mine toy. And, what animal does not seek out a bite of food? This was a good way to start my day. Thanks, John.

I do believe Twiggy has the most expressive face of any dog I’ve known. It would be hard not to give her whatever she wants.

It is hard. We limit her people food intake though.

You’re a trouble carrier? I never heard of that before, but I can see it. I’ll have to make sure not to share that term with Lucky, who would most certainly agree I am one, too.
It’s a good thing Twiggy has Bee Mine. She’ll need to share her troubles (since you’re not sharing your cereal). Sending her lots of ear scratches. Hopefully that will help ease her worries.
Thanks for the Thursday smiles, John.

She thanks you for the ear scratches, Staci. I’ll admit I cause her worry. Like not giving her the pork chop she wants.

Yeah Twiggy wants one of us here at all times. gives rise to separate vacations since the anxiety of separation is too big for a kennel or dog sitter.

She’s such a cutie, John! Thanks for sharing her pictures and thoughts. She could clean up your cereal bowl really well, and there’s some logic to that process. It not only makes her happy. It also makes it so you don’t have to clean the screen in the dishwasher so often.

I do believe Twiggy is as much a Velcro dog as my Monk is! I know some say it’s endearing, but it can bring its own set of troubles, right? And how do you resist sharing when she turns those puppy-dog eyes on you?
LikeLiked by 3 people
It is hard to resist. French Bulldogs have the ability to make themselves weigh 100 pounds when it comes time to ask them to scooch over. 😁

Who could resist that adorable face! I can see that she feels more secure next to you with a cereal bowl. A carrier of trouble? Too funny!
